Maddy and I grew up together. After my family moved next door to her house, we bonded fair quickly. We were both five years old, the first time we met. Now, thirteen years later; I was in her bathroom, while she did my makeup.
It was Lexi's birthday party tonight, and everyone from school was going to be there. I wasn't much of a fan of getting my face powdered. But Maddy insist this time. She was practicing her way up to cosmetology, and kind of used me as her mannequin.
Maddy has always been really good at makeup. She, herself; always wore foundation and blush on her face. Her eyes were always painted with different layouts and sparkles. And tonight, she decided to wear a cat-eye look.

" I can't believe how pretty you're looking," Maddy whispered, as she ran her black liquid pencil across my eyelid.
I had my eyes closed, and smiled. " And I can't believe I let you do this," I mumbled, not moving my mouth too much to not ruin her tracing.
" Shut up, Y/n. You should let me do your makeup more often. Your face is perfect to practice on," She added. " Open your eyes."
I gently opened my eyes at her request, and noticed she had a beam on her lips. " Wow, that's not bad," I praised her, staring myself on the mirror we had in front.
