Monday.

"Hey Nellie and Thomas."

"Hi."

"Hey Lee," Thomas said.

I made Thomas' and my coffee, "I always am."

Lee set down plates of eggs and toast at the island.

I gave Thomas his coffee and took a seat next to him.

"Thanks Kitten," he said.

"Remember not to blow the cover of the secret coffee."

"Of course not." Thomas chuckled.

"Wake up or we are leaving without you," Lee shouted up the stairs.

"Oh calm down. I'm coming," Wes answered and stomped downstairs followed by Drew and Anthony.

"I want to be in the car in five minutes or someone is getting thrown out the window," Lee told.

"I vote Anthony," Drew said.

"I second that," Wes agreed.

"Okay so in five minutes we are at the car or Anthony gets thrown out the window."

"You three need to quit ganging up on me," Anthony mumbled.

"We're not ganging up on you. We're trying to include you in the conversation since you're so shy," Drew mentioned.

"Why would I be shy around you guys?"

Wes said, "Because you suck."

"And because you're not as hot as we are," Lee added.

Anthony pointed out, "That's ganging up on me."

"No. This is called friendly criticism so you can become a better person and so you're not self-indulged," Drew said.

"I'm not the self-indulged one. Listen to yourselves," Anthony retaliated.

"Anna, enough whining. Mom and dad are staying with us this weekend and into next week so be on your best behavior."

Thomas looked at me confused.

"They like to call each other girl names as an insult," I whispered.

Thomas chuckled. "Do you have a guy nickname?"

"Not specifically."

"Quit whispering about sex," Lee said.

"We aren't," I defended.

"Five minutes are up. Anthony, you better hurry up if you don't want to be thrown out the window," Lee announced and put his plate in the sink before grabbing the car keys.

"You wouldn't do that anyway. You're too much of a pussy," he mumbled.

"You think?" Lee asked and grabbed Anthony.

---

"That's disgusting, Thomas," I said, laughing.

He shrugged. "What? You wanted to hear my grossest story."

"Well, I didn't think you would say something like that."

"What do you think grossed story means?" Thomas chuckled.
