A week later,
"PEGGY! HELP!" Ellie Mae screamed from her bedroom.
Peggy ran in, and found her bleeding on the bed. "Elle come on I think you having a miscarriage." Peggy said
She rushed Ellie Mae to the ER, the doctors took blood and they confirmed that her hcg levels were elevated. They rushed her to the ultrasound room while Peggy called Steve.
Steve repeatedly called Bucky and he ignored his phone calls and texts. He didn't tell him what the emergency was just that he needed to call Peggy.
The ultrasound tech let Ellie Mae know there was no heartbeat. While she waited to be discharged she passed the sac. Peggy held her hand as she cried they kept her few more hours before sending her home.
Bucky never returned phone calls or texts.
