Six months later,
It was now July, and the weekend of Peggy and Steve's engagement party. Everyone was in the Hamptons for the party. James pulled Bucky aside.
"Son, Ellie is here. You need to find your moment to set things right." James whispered in his ear.
Bucky swallowed hard when he seen her, "She looks beautiful." He whispered
As the night wore on, Bucky saw her watching the sunset alone. He walked out on the beach and joined her.
"Hey Ellie Mae.." he said
She looked over and seen him, "hey." She said in a defeated tone.
He looked down before he stood in front of her.
"I owe you an apology." He said
She looked at him confused. "A few months ago, Peggy explained everything to me. About your mom and the miscarriage. Ellie bear Im sorry I wasn't there, and Im sorry I accused you of having someone else." He said
"Geez what did Peggy do go around telling the world my business." She said
"Ellie, I would really like a second chance." He said
"Buck, Im going back to London tomorrow. I can't stay here I need to be home." She said
Bucky lifted her chin and kissed her, she began to kiss back. He broke the kiss, rested his forehead against hers.
"Just think about it Ellie bear, cause I still love you." He whispered then walked away.
Ellie took a deep breathe then whispered "I still love you too."
