Sweet fireflies
Hugging bears
Highlight bugs
I sit on a stool
Love shaming
Little ants
Marching along
Frisky names
Swollen eyes
Blood stained sheets
Dance along
To the awful news
Where I ditched
A good little butterfly
On a windowsill
I laugh
Quite merrily
Writing notes
Of that faithful ignorance
Poppy seeds
Potato daughters
A apple pie

I lay on the cloud
Watching with empty glass eyes
As a world moves beyond my fingertips
Not really wanting to join in
I see the conversation
And have a good laugh
Wondering if I could
Be as funny as they are
I dazedly wait
While the video plays
Listlessly enjoying
This program of yours
I don't really mind
As I lose myself to it
Not really knowing
What time it is
I know it sounds dumb
But sometimes I think
When listening to music
If I could make something
Maybe even better
Maybe even worse
But I think to myself
What could be if I tried
Although it always ends
By the time the video goes
The me that thought that
Has now been criticised
So I continue laying down
In the bed that I don't own
Watching someone else
Live a life that I don't even like
But still,
I wonder
Who would I be
If I live-streamed
