I was sitting
On the edge of my seat
Tea time approaching
But all I could see was the television
The new station was on
Top Volume
A new revaluation
Plant Umbrellas man
A sensation that has taken the world by storm
Rich people walking eucalyptus
A few with ferns
One with plain roots
What the flying wrench
My eyes stuck
A tad bit out of my head
Hairs sticking up wildly
Static
They'll saying this is safe
Working perfectly
They tell us that it's beautiful
And the new movement
Are they lying
Dramatics I'd say
But as I look outside
All I can see is
WHAM
Plant umbrellas everywhere
People walking by normally
With a hand on a stem
Staring ahead blankly
A strange pull
In the direction
Of my garden
A need to get outside
I move
Out of body experience
Before I know it
In my hands is a plant
I put it over my head with a smile
Turning around I walk out my gate
Out of control of my body
A panic echoing in my mind
I am being controlled
Stoic pacing
With a strong hand
Holding my new new plant umbrella
Dirt falling onto my head
As I slowly get soaked
By the rain pouring down
I do not stop
I really really love plants and trees to the point that my art teach has told me not to include them in my art :(
