Yesterday I stood
With my back against the wall
Watching you cry
With your heart in my hands
Who can you trust
When you're in no position
To continue thinking for yourself
When thoughtless nightmares seep into reality
These haunting sounds
Evade me as they torture
The one who's had it hardest
Stop approaching me please
This chaotic time machine
Will never take me back
For the wheels can no longer turn
As you went first earlier on
I cannot handle
This exhausting pressure
That drains from the ceiling
And sinks deep into our shoulders
And now my backs to the door
As I watch you fall
Fall to ruin with no time to spare
I cannot move, I've seen this before

Lovely eyes
Lovely eyes
Glazed donuts
Shaken ships
Pirate housings
Window shopping
We look together
For a homely lamp
So we can decorate
You don't count
On my excellent skills
To pick out a pink zebra sofa
Most definitely not
I'm so in love
With your lovely eyes
That take hold of my skin
And leads me on my way home
