🍋 The Lemon Tree's Will 🍋

A second part to "🍋 When The Lemon Tree Dies 🍋" from my first AweSamPonk oneshots book.

Invigorated with new life,
The warrior's lover carries on.
Sure to never take another husband nor wife,
The lover seeks revenge on the one who killed the warrior who over he did fawn.

The lover breezed through the towns,
The answers to his questions in sight.
Through many ups and downs,
It all lead up to this night.

Faced with the killer, mind sharp as a knife,
The lover took to arms,
Foolishly risking his life.
Though he came to no harm,
His work wasn't done,
Until he watched his enemy bleed out
Beneath the setting sun.

The fight lasted nearly a minute,
The lover stood tall
Surprised he could win it
Though he had risked it all.

He fell with a thud heard all around,
In every crevice and crack
And all through the town.
The lover went down as a man on a mission,
Avenging who he loved with the simplest vision.

In honor of the fate of this couple of men,
Our story ends here, way back when.

A/N: Sorry this kind of sucks. I graduate tomorrow and have a lot on my mind, I'm surprised I could even create the time to write this.

TL;DR - the lover (Ponk) hunts down who had injured the warrior (Sam) he had been in love with. Ponk finds the one guilty (Dream), and challenges him to a fight. He loses.
