Jacob rushed over to the Cullen house and Carlisle met him at the door.
"Is it true?" Jacob asks, walking straight in.
"Hello, Jacob. How are you?" Carlisle asks, closing the door.
"Listen, just give it to me straight." Jacob says to the doctor.
"Jake, is that you?" Bella's voice calls.
"She's here?" Jacob asks.
"They came home 2 weeks ago." Carlisle says.
Jacob rushes upstairs.
"Jake." Carlisle says, following him up the stairs.
Jacob sees Edward standing a little ways away from the couch. Alice on the opposite side.
The Originals stood behind the couch. Emmett was leaned against the wall by Edward.
Rosalie and Elizabeth standing in front of Bella by the couch. Glares on their angelic like faces.
Jacob approaches the couch, everyone watching him cautiously.
"We're glad you came." Bella says.
"Speak for yourself." Elizabeth mutters.
Jacob gets a little closer. Rosalie was quick to stop him.
"Close enough." Rosalie says.
"What's your problem?" Jacob asks.
Emmett and Klaus look at the quiluete wolf in warning.
"Rose, it's ok." Bella says.
The blonde vampire steps aside while Jacob sits next to Bella.
"You look terrible." Jacob says.
Bella laughs. Elizabeth glares, making Jacob cough. Carlisle hides a smirk. He had to admit that it was attractive seeing her be so intimidating to others. While she was an angel with him.
"Yeah... it's nice to see you, too." Bella says.
Jacob nods.
"So, you gonna tell me what's wrong with you?" Jacob asks.
Bella gets nervous and looks down before turning Rosalie and Elizabeth.
"You guys wanna help me up?" Bella asks.
Rosalie and Elizabeth help Bella up. Bella pulls her shirt down, covering the bruises that Jacob already saw.
Jacob turns to Edward.
"You did this!" Jacob growls, going after Edward, only to be stopped by Emmett and Klaus.
"We didn't even know this was possible." Carlisle says as Jacob moves Emmett and Klaus' hands off his shoulders.
"Watch your tone and actions, young mutt. You so much as distress these two ladies and I will gladly rip your heart out." Klaus says.
Jacob shook off the chills going up his spine.
"What is it?" Jacob asks, turning to Carlisle.
"I'm not sure. Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac." Carlisle says as Bella sits back down.
"I can't see it either." Alice says as all eyes go to her.
Alice turns to Elizabeth, who gives a sneaky shake of her head.
