Elizabeth walks outside, holding Cora, and stands next to Carlisle.
"How's it going out here?" Elizabeth asks.
"Fine. Zafrina's about to show everyone her gift." Carlisle says, as Eleazar explains Zafrina's gift.
Elizabeth nods and hands Cora to Carlisle, who was smiling at her father. Carlisle smiles and takes his daughter, placing a kiss on her cheek.
"If she weren't holding my hand right now, I could swear this was real." Edward says.
"I don't see anything." Bella says.
"You can't see this?" Edward asks.
"No. Lizzy?" Bella asks, looking to her sister.
Elizabeth looks around before shaking her head.
"I see you, our husbands, my daughter, and the forest." Elizabeth says.
"Edward, Carlisle, neither of you told me your wives were shields." Eleazar says, approaching.
Edward suddenly had a look of realization.
"What's a shield?" Bella asks.
"The ones I've met are so different. El was the only other one that's like you. But it makes sense as to why I can't read your mind, even before." Edward says.
"It's a defensive talent." Eleazar says.
"It's why I couldn't read either yours or Elizabeth's minds, even before. It's why Aro couldn't." Edward says.
"You two have a powerful gift. Bella, you are extremely lucky to have that gift." Eleazar says.
Elizabeth and Bella turn as they feel their hands being grabbed.
"Oh, yeah, they're shields alright. That should've put her on her asses." Kate says, dropping their hands she was shocked.
Elizabeth gave Kate a warning look.
"I'd your voltage has been exaggerated." Garrett says.
"Maybe it only works on the weak." Kaye says, extending her hand.
Garrett reaches forward.
"Garrett, I wouldn't." Carlisle warns.
But he does and soon Garrett was on his knees from Kate's shock.
"You're an amazing woman." Garrett says.
Elizabeth then cuddles into Carlisle, whom wraps an arm around his wife.
Carlisle places a kiss on Elizabeth's head before doing the same to Cora, whom giggled and laid her hand on his shoulder. Elizabeth wraps her arms around Carlisle and cuddles into him.
Carlisle smiles as he holds his girls close, everyone else smiling at the little family.

"When Aro wants someone from a coven it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime." Eleazar says.
"So he's done this before?" Bella asks.
"It happens so rarely. I never realized it was a pattern." Eleazar says.
"Apparently he always pardons one person who's thoughts he claims are repentant." Carlisle says.
"This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the Guard." Eleazar says.
