Jacob drops firewood onto the ground and Benjamin used fire to start the bonfire.

"That's what I'm talkin about. A little pre-battle bonfire. Telling war stories." Jacob says, sitting next to Benjamin.

Jacob then glanced up.

"Or just standing there like frickin' statue." Jacob says.

Garrett then speeds over and sits on a log.

"Name any American battle. I was there." Garrett says.

"Little Bighorn." Jacob says.

"I came this close to biting Custer. But the Indians for him first." Garrett says.

Kate then speeds over and sits on his lap.

"Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own." Kate says.

"If we're talking battles, you're talking the Eleven Year's War. No one does rebellion like the Irish." Liam says.

"You lost the Eleven Year's War." Garrett says.

"Aye. But it was one hell of a rebellion." Liam says.

"When we ruled, everything came to us. Prey, diplomats, favor seekers. Such was our power. But we never put on white hats and called ourselves saints." Vladimir says, bringing attention to him and Stefan.

"We were honest about what we were." Stefan says.

"We sat still for a very long time. We didn't notice we were beginning to petrify." Vladimir says.

"Perhaps The Volturi did us a favor when they burned our castles." Stefan says.

"We've been waiting 1,500 years to return that favor. We've been ready to do battle for ages." Vladimir says.

Edward stood a bit away, staring at everyone at the bonfire. His mind wild with multiple thoughts. Carlisle then walks up to him and stand next to him, too watching the bonfire.

Their eyes flickering to the tents that their wives and daughters relaxed in.

"I can't help thinking all these people are putting themselves in danger because I fell in love with a human." Edward says.

"You found your mate. You deserve to be happy." Carlisle says.

"But at what cost?" Edward asks.

"Everyone here has something to fight for. I certainly do." Carlisle says, his eyes returning to his wife and daughter.

"Carlisle, I've never thanked you. For this extraordinary life." Edward says.

Carlisle have Edward a smile and pat his back before leaving his hand on his shoulder.

"Everything's gonna be fine." Carlisle says.

Elizabeth gave Cora a locket, which Cora opened to see a photo of Elizabeth and Carlisle with writing on the other side.

"This means "More than my own life." That's how much I love you." Elizabeth says to Cora, who turns to her.

"Tomorrow, I need you to stay with uncle Klaus. No matter what. Even if I tell him that... that he has to take you somewhere. Hey." Elizabeth says as Cora's eyes began to water up.

Elizabeth pulls her in and hugs her close. Cora hugs her mothers arms, cuddling into her her.

"You're gonna be safe. Always. Always and Forever." Elizabeth says.
