"Bwah?! Housewarden!" Ace jerked backward to the table, causing some ratlling of silverware and spilling of water.

Yuu reflexively grabbed 2 empty glasses from falling over and put them back. On the opposite side of the table, they saw Deuce managed to hold his Ice latte before it completely toppled over the table with a short yell before sending an irked gaze at Ace as he sipped his drink.

Cater brushed behind his neck nervously, "Hey, Riddle What's shakin', pal? You're lookin' adorbs, as always!"

"Hmph. Cater, keep running that mouth and you'll lose it - along with the rest of your head." Riddle frowned at him.

Cater let out a nervous laugh, holding both his hands up and waved slightly, trying to quench Riddle's anger, "Sorry, sorry! My bad!"

"Myah?! You're the guy who put that stupid collar on me at the orientation ceremony!" Grim cried out as he pointed at him with his paw.

Riddle faced Grim and his lips tugged downward even further, a hint of recognition sparked in his eyes. "And you're the new students who were nearly expelled yesterday. I'll ask that you not refer to my unique magic as a "stupid collar." The headmaster's habit of tolerating rulebreakers like you is going to send this entire campus spiraling into chaos one day. Those who break the rules should have their heads removed immediately, without exception."

A collar for breaking the rule doesn't sound like a punishment at all in Yuu opinion. They wondered if the collar will do anything to them seeing as they don't have any magic. It probably doesn't do anything other than restricting their movement.

Yuu unconciously nodded and hummed in agreement. Unbeknownst to Yuu, Riddle who had scrutinized them for a moment seems satisfied with the answer and the pliant behaviour.

"Prefect, are you for real? This guy looks like a wimp, but talks like a monster!" whispered Ace, which is kind of stupid in Yuu opinion because Riddle is still infront of him and he can see and hear perfectly.

Riddle huffed at Ace, crossing his arms and goes "The headmaster may have forgiven you, but if you break any further rules, I assure you I will not!"

Ah yes, a person who cleaned after Crowley's mess. This just prove Crowley is as incompetant as his first impression.

Yuu turned their gaze at Ace who was sounding kind of sheepish all of the sudden.

"So, uh, listen, housewarden, sir... Any chance I could get you to remove this collar?"

"......." Yuu gave him a vague side eye. That was a wrong time to ask.

"I had intended to remove it once you'd taken an opportunity to reflect upon your crimes. But I've not detected so much as a hint of remorse in the foolishness I've heard you spout today. So I think I'll let you keep that for a while." Riddle paused at the sight of Ace's dejected face before continuing, "Don't worry. The freshman curriculum is more focused on magical theory than practice. And your inability to use magic will help prevent incidents along the lines of what happened yesterday."

Riddle eyes swept across the table, eyeing some of the empty and forgotten food. "Now, if you've finished your meal, you should quit gossiping and prepare for your next class. Rule 271 is quite clear: "One must leave the table within fifteen minutes of completing their lunch." You DO understand what happens to rulebreakers, I trust?"

...That's a weird rule. What kind of rule is that? It's not about etiquette is it? And judging by the number, it must be a lot of rules.

Yuu was not confident in memorizing all the rules if they are more specific because they were always bad with that kind of stuff. Listening to long instructions and doing it was not their kind of thing.
