Premise
After the Battle of Starcourt, the Hawkins gang thought they finally had their happy ending, despite the group suddenly being split in half by geography. It was a naive thought but they thought it anyway. That pipe dream didn't last long. Over Spring Break 1986, Hawkins is plagued by a new threat: Vecna, another creature from the Upside Down, who preys on vulnerable teens in the small Indiana town. On the other side of the country, the U.S. Army searches for Eleven with no regard for the lives they might take along the way. And to top it all of—a slip in time seems to have altered the memories of the eldest Hawkins teens: Jonathan, Nancy, Steve, and Dylan appear to have forgotten all romantic ties to each other overnight. This slip leads to weird new relationships and a shift in the timeline that only leads to more chaos.

Originally, I planned to end this with Part C. But Season 4 has inspired me! This part of Don't Blame Me will be a little different than the rest of the book (hence why it's called VOL II and not Part D). Be prepared for for multiple POVs and an original storyline that counterparts the canonical events of Season 4. Again, thank you for all the support. I missed Dylan and Steve too much to end this so I should've seen this coming!
P.S. To establish continuity with the rest of this book I, of course, had to attach a thematic Taylor Swift song for this part and I've chosen "Invisible String."
