I flop down my bed and rested my eyes.

I'm so tired

Its already been a few days since that day off so I went back to work right after

Atleast I got to avoid that humiliating tea party

"Shall I prepare a bath for you so you can relax?"

"Or would you prefer going on a walk?Perhaps we can meet the bird we saw last tim--oh?"

"It's really come back"

Oh?He's back already?Well I guess that shouldn't be much of a surprise to me.

"The bird!It's really here!"

I rise from my bed and went towards the bird.

"It must be here to see you,your majesty!It even has a letter tied to it's leg!"

I notice the bird had another note on its leg.

I took it and read it

I'd like to think I'm a bit more intelligent than a bird. I've woken up from my drunken stupor now

I chuckled as I read the note.

"Laura,get me a pen and paper,will you?"

I watered the bird, then quickly wrote a reply.

It seems as if you haven't awoken completely.What is the birds name?

The ladies giggled again after seeing my note. Everyone mused on whether it was fun to write such letters.

"It's fun for you too,isn't it,your majesty?"

"Hmm...a bit...?"

I tied the letter to the birds head and kissed the bird’s small head.

"Make sure not to lose your way this time,too"

I launched it into the sky, and it flapped its wings and flew away.

"Come visit again"

Hopefully that asshole won't visit me today,it's not like he has any reason to unlike in the original where he argued with my empress and delusionally said the love rival issue

That imbecile tried to get a reaction from her but my empress put him in his place

Gosh my empress really hurt him with her words

Anyways if I remember correctly, tomorrow is the day that woman goes to my empress's nest chair and my empress argues with her then that asshole fights with her again

I could just not come there tomorrow but that would be boring

But I also don't want anyone touching my empress's property

I have to do something about it

I got up from my bed and decided to go the gardens

My ladies-in-waiting wanted to go with me but I told them I wanted to be alone

So I left them behind with tasks for them to do to make sure they won't follow me

I made my way to the garden and I looked for roses in the garden

I saw a bush of them and I checked if they have thorns in them and they did,they were a lot of it.

Now I just have to get some gloves and get back here tonight to arrange my plan.

I returned to the Western palace with the thought that I get to do something about that woman and I get to meet Queen too.

It was night time and I went out alone of the Western Palace while carrying gloves hidden on me

When I reached the gardens where the roses are,I put on my gloves and pulled out the roses with the many thorns in them.I carried them to the nest chair and arranged them in it.Decorating them to look like a rose chair but ofcourse I deliberately left the thorns in them.I hid the thorns below and designed it where it only shows the roses.

When I was satisfied,I stepped back and admired my work.It was a rose chair that looked like something out of a fairytale.It  looked like a throne of flowers that anyone would be tempted to sit on but in reality if you sat on it,you will be buried in their thorns.

Knowing that woman,she'd be too enamoured with how beautiful this chair is to even think about the thorns

If she does fall for it,she won't only get hurt,she'd also look even more stupid and weak

That asshole will be too busy taking care of her to bother me

Then suddenly,there was a piercing shriek from afar. I looked up and saw a large bird coming down from the sky.

I knew you were coming

It headed for me again,then landed on my arm and peered at me close.

It looked so adorable that I burst into giggles, and the bird blinked its large eyes and tilted its head.

"You're so good at finding me"

Again, a note was tied to the bird’s leg. I unfurled the note and saw written in neat script,

Is such a thing needed?You may name it,if you'd like

I studied the bird, and the bird looked back at me.Its gaze felt more penetrating than usual. Did it know that I was up to something?

I looked around, then hugged the bird and whispered to its feathery head.I petted the bird’s back.

"Aw...did you notice?I was just playing around with the flowers.I'll let you in on a little secret.This is my secret place.I sometimes come here to have some time for myself.Its a secret,understand?"

It then slowly lifted a wing and brushed it against my cheek as if to comfort me, and I smiled.

I wasn't even in a bad mood and yet he's comforting me

You're so nice.If it weren't for you,my empress would fall into complete despair.Thank you for being here for my empress.

"How kind you are.Nice bird"

I kissed its head in gratitude, and the bird made a funny squawking noise and tapped the note with its beak.

I guess you want a reply now.I took out my note paper and a pen.I already know the name for you. I've always liked the name my empress gave him so I'm not changing it.

I wrote down the name Queen

"A kind, intelligent bird like you deserves a name which benefits your character"

The bird tapped the word “Queen” with a large claw.

"So,your name shall be Queen"

I tied the note to the bird’s leg, then gently hugged it again.

"Thank you for coming to see me,Queen.Im in a better mood now,thanks to you."

I let the bird fly into the sky and went to see it off

"I hope you will come visit me again"

I looked back at the rose chair and I smirked

Now,we just wait for the prey to fall to this beautiful trap
