"Yes,your majesty?"

He sighed "You don't have to always call me 'your majesty',Empress.You can just call me by my name"

I see what he's trying to do here

He's trying to bring closeness between us by letting us use first name basis

Too bad for him,I know a lot about him

"But your majesty,I thought you prefered to be called that way.Doesn't it remind you that you are the Emperor?"

The bastard looked at me confused but before he could respond,I cut him off

"Just like how you always call me Empress.Everytime you do so,it reminds me of what I am.I remember how I must act and the duties I have"

I drew back my hand and placed it on my lap

"You're majesty,you should know better than anyone of what I must do for this role I have.I know I must seem cold and unfeeling but you must understand...I have to be like that in order to fulfill this purpose I've been given"

I smiled bitterly and looked down at my hands

This is just another way to get him attached

I would guilt trip him and then act vulnerable,this way he would see me in a different light.

Acting this way will make my actions more natural and less calculated

This way,he would think he understands me and whenever I act coldly,he would remember this moment

Acting pitifully really hurts my pride but it really does put down a person's guard so easily

I looked up and saw the asshole with a sad expression on his face

He's so easy

But that is favorable to me so I won't complain

"You're right.I should understand you more than anyone since we've been together since young.I've totally forgotten what you really are behind your perfect act.It's my fault for ignoring the effort you've put into being the Empress and to this Empire"

He gives me a sympathetic look but I decided this should be enough

I've already inflicted guilt into him so I need to take a step back to see if he will come after me.That way,I can be sure if everything is going well

Plus I need some space to think of my next step to get him attached

For now, I'll act all hurt and tired to gain some sympathy

"I-i'll be taking my leave your majesty.I will let you rest now.I'll come back to you later"

I'll hurt him a little with my absence then make him anticipate my return

He'd probably be thinking about all this when I leave him alone

I stood up and went for the door.I closed the door and immediately went to my room
