Out of impulse,I smiled brightly at the person infront of me

"Thank you"

I thanked the person who gave me the present with a smile like I was taught growing up

That was until I saw the person infront of me that I realized I completely forgot who I'm talking to

Im embarrassed for myself

I looked at the person infront of me and saw that he was in a daze while looking at me

I composed myself and put back the butterfly in the box before closing it

The bastard got startled and got out of his trance and responded to me...embarrassed

I turned to my heel and headed towards the door

I didn't bother to look back because I could feel him staring at me

I finally got out of there and closed the door behind me

I just let myself go for a minute there and now that douchebag probably thinks everything is okay now

I decided to go to my room and met Countess Jubel on the way there

I told her I will have my breakfast at my room so I won't be bothered by anyone

We went to my room together and she set down the tray of bread, juice, and jam on the table

Thankfully I met her on the way or she might have seen how that prick looked and pester me about it

Countess Jubel left my room and I was left completely alone in the room.

I started eating my breakfast and contemplated with how things are going

Now that I think about it,I've been doing pretty well and I finally got to do everything I've always wanted even before while I was just reading about this story

The fact that I'm actually here is amazing

It's as if a new creation of a story is another creation of a new world

It's fascinating to think about such things but...I'm not here to do that.Im here for a reason and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make this chance worth it

Even if this is just a dream,I will do everything I've always wanted in this world

Soon,Countess Jubel would come barging in telling me about that shitbag being sick and shit

I walked over to the window to open it, and the large bird hopped inside the room.

“Queen,you came all this way for me?”

Queen nodded, then wrapped his wings around me in an embrace.

It was as if he were trying to comfort me.I wasn't in a bad mood or in need of comfort but I do enjoy the attention.I still appreciate his efforts though

I kissed him on the forehead and he froze as usual, but he did not pull away.

I pulled him away from my arms and set him on the table and patted his soft feathers

"Where did Prince Heinley find a lovely bird like you?"

As if trying to make himself look more beautiful, he widened his claws and looked at me with large, clear eyes.
