It's been a few months since Hyunjin's birthday. It's now the start of June and everything has been running smooth in the house.
Everyone's been doing their own thing. But lately Changbin has been distratcted. He's been having a tought in his head eversince the conversation a few months ago.
He stood up from his bed and made his way to Felix and Minho's room. The omega and aloha had only recently started sharing a room. Sharing the room the omega used to share with Jisung who now has mived to the room Minho previously slept in with Chan.
Knocking on the door and recieving the ok to come in, he was met with a cute sight. The omega was sitting on the bed close to the headboard reading a book with the alpha sleeping, his head on his lap playing with his hair.
"Is he still tired?" Changbin asked.
"Yeah. The aftermath of having to spend his rut alone wore him out. He's been asleep for couple of hours now" Felix explained.
No, he and Minho hadn't mated yet. He felt awfuk hearing the alpha being in pain of not being able to be with his omega for a whole 5 days. But the omega was sure that for his next cycle they would be mating.
"Is something wrong Binnie? I can see you have something on your mind" the omega softly spoke.
"No... uh wel yes, actually. I've been thinking and I want to propose to Jinnie. It's about time I do it and I know he's been waiting for it for a long time. Even more now after that conversation months ago" Changbin said.
Felix quietly squealed accidentally waking Minho up.
"Lix baby, what's going on?" Minho asked, his voice laced with sleep.
"Oh, I'm sorry MinMin. I'm just happy because Binnie is gonna propose to Jinnie" Feliz said.
That woke the alpha who immediately smiled.
"It's about damned time you did" Minho said.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go with me ring shopping. I want to find the perfect ring" Changbin said.
Both males nodded and soon the three of them were off to the city. ____________________________
At the shop the three males were looking at all the rings in the cases. As they were looking, Changbin saw a ring he knew the onega would love.
"Excuseme, Hi, I would love to see this ring please" Changbin said.
The clerk nodded and spoke "This ring is a set of two. One for each person" she daid taking out both rings.
"Wow Binnie hyung, Luna is going to love it. It's beautiful" Felix said.
Indeed the ring was beautiful. A black band decorated with white diamonds accompanied by another simple black band. It was perfect for them.

Changbin smiled and told the clerk he'd take it.
Meanwhile, a certain alpha was observing his partner. The omega was staring at a particular ebgagement ring with twinkling eyes. The alpha made a mental note to remember such detail for when the time comes. (Remember this 😏🤭)
After Changbin paid, the males left the store and made their way back home.

Perfect timing was something the pack lacked. That was a given. The proposal wasn't an exception.
Sure, Changbin wanted it to be memorable but he never imagined both of them would be soaking wet in the lake wheb he did it.
He had decided he would do it on one of their family lake days. They always went to the lake every two weeks to cook and wash the bedsheets.
The alphas would cook a meal while the omegas whased.
As Hyunjin was putting a comforter on a tree branch with much difficulty, Changbin decided to approach and start a conversation.
"My love" Changbin said.
"Babes, help me with this. It's too heavy" Hyunjin said.
"So.. i've been thinking.... you know I love you right?" Changbin said.
"Yeah..." the omega responded.
"Well.. i've been thinking.. maybe we should move on.. you know with the next chapter of our lives" Changbin said.
"You mean pups? If that's what you want, I mean I wouldn't be opposed to the idea" Hyunjin said softly smiling.
"No! Wait I mean, yes but in the near future. I was leaning more towards weddings" the alpha spoke.
"Weddings? That'd be great, but no ones engaged Binnie. Hiw can we have weddings if no one has proposed yet?" the luna spoke
"Are you sure about that?" Changbin said.
"Ofcourse I am! Why wouldn't-" Hyunjin stopped mid sentence as he saw his mate on one knee holding a small white box with a beautiful ring inside of it.
"Jinnie I-" the alpha couldn't finish what he was saying because the omega too shocked to register where he was stepping, slipped on the wet grass and fell in the lake.
The omega was soaking wet and the alpha couldn't help but laugh at his mate. The omega still shocked but mad at the alpha for laughing quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him in the water. Laughing as his mate coughed up water.
Luckily for everyone, Jeongin had managed to grab the box with the ring inside before the omega pulled the man in the lake, saving the precious item.
After a moment of everyone laughing, Changbin once again knelt down on one knee on the shallow side of the lake, the maknae handing hin the ring box.
"This wasn't how I wanted this to go, but I guess this makes it more memorable. We've known each other all our lives. I knew you were my mate since we were 6 and 5 years old. I love you so much there are no words to describe tjmhe feeling you give me. I should have done this sooner but I guess it's better late than never now that we have our family. Hwang Hyunjin, my love, my omega, my Luna, my mate will you continue making me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Changbin spoke.
Everyone else was smiling and waiting for their luna to answer. They knew how much he had waited for this moment.
"Yes! Yes I'll marry you, idiot! It's about time!" Hyunjin said smiling while hapoy tears rolled down his cheeks.
Changbin rose up from the ground and put the ring on his mates hand. They shared a passionate kiss.
Everyone was happy for the couple. The omegas were gushing about the ring while the alphas were congratulating their head alpha.
This was certainly a great day. The other omegas hoped their lovers took the hint and would make a move soon in their relationships.
