Natasha:
"Mom, I'll be back later!" Y/N yells as she walks past my office. "Hold on," I stand up from my chair and walk over to the door, crossing my arms over my chest. "I didn't say you could go out."

Y/N rolls her eyes as she turns on her heels to face me. "Mom, can I go out?" She smiles with an attitude. "Where are you going?" I question.
"Out with some friends." She shrugs. "That's vague. What friends?" I raise an eyebrow. "You don't know them, but they're from school."
"What at you planning on doing?"
Y/N takes a deep breath and rolls her eyes again. "Geez, I don't know mom." She scoffs. "Why does it matter?
"Because I know you Y/N." I say. "Wow, thanks for the trust."
"Well you haven't exactly proven yourself trustworthy in the past few months." I smirk and
Y/N remains silent.

"Turn on your location and be home by ten. You drink or smoke again and you'll be grounded for a month." I warn. "Thank you! I promise I won't. Love you." She smiles excitedly giving me a hug. "I love you too." I chuckle. "But I mean it Y/N, this is your last chance."
"I know." She pulls away and I kiss her forehead.

"Bye mom."
"Bye honey, don't be stupid." I yell as she runs down the stairs.

After I'd finished up with my paperwork, I moved on to doing my laundry, deciding to do Y/N's at the same time.

I walked into her room and not to my surprise, her clothes were scattered across the floor so I went around her room and threw them into the laundry basket.

When I checked under her bed to see if there were any clothes under it, I pulled out a jumper and a bag of weed fell out of the pocket. "Jesus, Y/N." I sigh heavily.

Ever since Y/N started high school she's been such hard work. In the space of a year she's been suspended four times, I've caught her sneaking out at least twice and she's come home smelling like cigarettes and alcohol more times than I can count. This was the final straw. I'm so angry with her.

Y/N:
My friends and I were sitting on top of roof at school when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took the last sip of my beer and saw I had a message from my mom.

"I have to go. My mom wants me home and she seems mad, she used my full name." I chuckle, standing up. "What did you do now?" My friend Ellie asks. "Who knows." I roll my eyes.

"Does anyone have a mint? I don't want to give mom any more excuses to yell at me." I ask. James pulls a pack out of his bag and hands it to me. "Thanks." I smile before walking off.

"Wait Y/N!" James calls after me and I turn back around. "Yeah?"
He walks over and sprays his cologne all over me. "So you don't smell like cigarettes and beer." He chuckles. "James! Now she's going to think I was at some guys house!" I say angrily. "So? You're gay aren't you?" He shrugs. "Well, yes. But my mom doesn't know that."
"Oh, oops. Sorry." He laughs. "It's fine. I'll see you at school tomorrow." I sigh.

When I walked into the compound, my mom was sitting on the couch having a conversation with the rest of the team. She didn't seem mad or annoyed...until she looked at me.

"Why'd I have to come home?" I ask. Mom gets off the couch and walks over to me, grabbing my wrist and pulling me upstairs. "Someone's in trouble." I hear Tony laugh.

Mom doesn't say a word until we get to my bedroom she walks over to my nightstand and picks up the bag of weed that was hidden under my bed. "Care to explain?" She questions in a calm tone, which only scares me even more.

"How did you even find that?" I raise my voice, going to snatch it from her, however she smacks my hand away. "It was under your bed Y/N. You didn't exactly hide it well." She tilts her head.

"I'm so disappointed Y/N. I taught you better than this." She says. "Mom, is just a bit of weed, it's not that big of a deal. Just be grateful I'm not doing drugs or something." I roll my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest.

"It's not just the weed Y/N!" She starts yelling. "It's the staying out until one in the morning on a school night, the smoking and drinking, and the fact that if you get one more suspension, you get kicked out of school!"
I stay silent, trying to hold back my tears.

Mom sighs, placing the bag of weed back down and sitting on the bed. She pats the space next to her for me to sit down.

"I understand that you're a teenager and whether or not I like it, you're going to do stuff like this. But at some point the line has to be drawn and as your mom, it's my job to do that." She says calmly with small smile. "You're only fifteen and you've gotten away with a lot but from now on there is to be no more of this." She holds up the weed. "Or drinking for that matter, unless I've told you can. At least until you're sixteen. Got it?"
"Fine." I mumble. "Good." She chuckles, pulling me in for a side hug.

"I love you." She smiles, kissing my forehead. "I love you too mama." I say with a slight chuckle.

"Can you go shower. You stink like teenage boy and beer." Mom laughs. "Uh, rude." I scoff, getting of the bed and walking to the bathroom.

"You're grounded for the next month just so you know." She smirks. "What? Why?" I whine. "I warned you earlier not to drink and you did it anyway." She shrugs, making her way out of my bedroom. I frown and shut my bathroom door. "Stupid James, the cologne didn't even help."
