~Harry~

The moment Hermione's owl arrived, I knew that this wasn't a good idea.

Dear Harry and Ron,

Hogwarts just isn't the same without you two! McGonagall is doing wonderfully as Headmistress, although no one could replace Dumbledore. (Here, a teardrop stained the parchment.) She has received word from a friend of Dumbledore's, who lives in America! He will send over students from his school as an exchange program. The thing is, it's going to be hard to conceal our magic from them, so I really need you two try to be normal. Well, as normal as you boys can be. That's all for now.

Love,

Hermione

P.S. Meet me at eleven o'clock on Thursday at King's Cross, platform 3.

I looked at Ron.

"'As normal as you boys can be'?!" he spluttered.

"Exchange program?" I said, idly fiddling with my wand as I looked over the parchment. "King's Cross at eleven on... Thursday?"

Ron's eyes popped. "Blimey, mate, that's today!"

"We should-"

"What should you do?" Mrs. Weasley asked from the other side of the door. Ron groaned.

Mrs. Weasley bustled in, and straightened a photograph of Ginny and me waving merrily at the camera. "What are you doing to cause mischief this time?"

"We're not going to cause mischief, Mrs. Weasley," I said, holding the letter up. "Hermione says to meet her at King's Cross at eleven."

"Well," she said, squinting at the letter. "It's five minutes till eleven now, so you'd better get going."

Ron sighed. "Thanks, Mum."

I smiled at Mrs. Weasley, flattened my fringe, and Apparated to King's Cross.
