ANA'S POV:

I could sense danger.

But, to whom?

JESS'S POV:

R..rocky?

I stumbled backwards until my back hit the tree.
Rocky stood there, smirking.

"You thought we would forget you, little lady?" He laughed.

"Get..get away from me." My voice trembled.
"Mmh, nah. That's not what I came here for. I'll get my revenge, you hurt my girlfriend, Alaya, now pay for it. " His once laughing look changed into a formidable one.

I was yet to recover from my injury by his girlfriend.
I was astonished, to say the least.

I weighed my options. What could I possibly do? Run? Nah, I've tried that many times. It doesn't wor-

I was thrashed to the ground by Rocky, in between my thinking.
"Be fast, sweetie. This world has no place for the slow ones." He smirked.

He raised his hand to hit me. He took hold of my neck and threw me on the ground again.

By now, I was bleeding.
"Mmm, it smells...delicious." He came above me, ready to bite.

He leaned down. I closed my eyes.

There was no point in avoiding the inevitable, right?

NOAH'S POV:

Forests gave me comfort. It made me feel somewhat human.
I wanted to lead a normal life. A life where I can be happy with my family, my little family.

I had it all planned at 6. Everything was going perfect, so perfect.
But perfect is an illusion.

I could still feel it sometimes, all those gasping for air, heat and the cries from my family.

I didn't deserve it. No one does.
That's why me and my family never killed anyone.
We knew how it feels to die and to lose someone.

I was lucky, selfish to be precise, to have my friends, Ana and Sohail, since forever, even before we died.

Our parents were close friends, they decided to keep us together forever. I don't know what I'd have done without them.

As I was walking around, I smelled blood of

someone I knew.

I ran with my speed and I saw Jess laying down, unconscious and Rocky above her smelling her blood before killing her.

Well, someone's dying tonight.

I took hold of Rocky and threw him, I always carried a little knife with me. Who knew whom to kill and when?

You're done Rocky, for touching my family, again.

And then I just watched him disappear into ashes.

Relief.

I looked over her. She needs home, she needs rest.

I took her home as soon as I could.

Ana took her to the room and said she would take care of her.

Annie was out with Sohail. Atleast she wouldn't worry too much.

I sighed and plopped back on the sofa.

I was waiting for her since two hundred years. Now, I won't let her go.

ANNIE'S POV: *Play Tum Hi Ho*

I was walking around with Sohail. This place had trees all around and deep forests.
It felt save with him. So so safe. The one I never felt with my parents, either.

It's funny how someone gets so close to us and we don't even realise.

Absolute magic.

"What are you thinking, my lady?" He smiled.
"About you." I whispered intentionally, not wanting to make him hear.
"Well, thank you for thinking about me. Penny for your opinions, though?" He laughed.
"I- How did you hear that?" I was shocked.
"I think you forgot my vampiric abilities." He laughed again.

Ironically, he looked more human than most humans.
Even without being a human he is such a human that humans should be ashamed they're not even one percent human as this human- I mean vampire is. You know what I mean?

"Have you ever killed someone, Sohail?" I looked at him.
"Uh, no. Our tribe don't hunt humans." He smiled and I let out a breath of relief.

"Ah, thank God." I smiled.

As we walked around, the dark clouds took over the clear sky anf it thundered.

I flinched. Sohail seemed to notice.
"Should we go inside? You seem scared." He hugged me.
"No.. I want the rain." I snuggled my head in his chest.
"You'll fall sick." He laughed lightly at my childishness.
"I'll be okay." I looked up at him.

It was just me looking into his eyes, raindrops falling on our faces and thunder striking some miles away.

I ran in circles with him looking at me intently.
In a second, he came beside me and picked me up.
My hands were in the air welcoming the raindrops and he just looked at me.

After a few minutes the rain got colder.
He put me down from his arms and whispered in my ear,
"You're beautiful."
At that time my heartbeat had increased by one million.
I didn't know it was humanly possible to be this happy. This was the happiest day in my life. The happiest.

We walked hand in hand towards the house.
I started shivering midway.
"See, I knew you'd fall cold. I'm not even warm to.." I interrupted him by hugging him.

"Take me away." Were the only words that I said.
The only that had to be said.
