A/N: So I'm just going to write this chapter because it does not have Billy in it at all. I want to wait to see if anyone else comments before moving on with the story since at the moment the comments are divided equally. Thank you! As always I hope you enjoy and don't forget to vote. Love from the author, over and out!

After driving very fast while rambling to herself about her argument with Steve, Maddie finally arrived at the lab with only a minute to spare. She quickly exited her car and ran inside of the lab. She got there just before Dr. Owens also known as Creepy entered the room. "Hey guys, sorry I'm a little late", Maddie said calmly even though the anger from earlier still shined through her eyes. "Hi Mads", Will said quietly with a small smile. "Hey, Will the Wise", Maddie said with a large smile trying to bottle up the rest of her emotions from the nosey adults in the room. Just as Maddie sat down in her seat Creepy walked through the door.

"Sir Will, how are you? Mom, Sis, Hop. Let's take a look, see what's going on here. I see you shaved off a pound since we saw you last", Dr. Owens said causing Maddie to roll her eyes. "Must be making room for all the Halloween candy. What's your favorite candy? Desert island candy, if you had to pick one?", Dr. Owens asked Will who responded with an "I don't know". "Come on. Life or death situation, what would you pick?", Dr. Owens pressured Will. "I guess...", Will stated looking towards Joyce and Maddie who both mouthed "Reese's Pieces". "Reese's Pieces", Will finished. "Good call. Good call. I'm more of a Mounds guy, but I gotta say, peanut butter and chocolate, come on, hard to beat that", Dr. Owens stated before getting into the actual reason we are here.

"All right, tell me what's going on with you. Tell me about this episode you had", Dr. Owens told Will. "Well, my friends were there and then they just weren't, and I was back there again", Will said before Dr. Creepy asked, "In the Upside Down?". Will nodded anxiously. "All right, so what happened next?", Dr. Owens questioned. "I heard this noise, and so I went outside, and it was worse", Will said. "How was it worse?", Dr. Owens asked to which Will responded, "There was this storm". Will's monitor started to pick up, but Dr. Creepy ignored it by asking, "Okay. So how did you feel when you saw the storm?". " I felt... frozen", Will responded causing Maddie to look at him worriedly.

"Heart racing?", Dr. Owens asked. "Just frozen", Will responded dismissively. "Frozen, cold frozen? Frozen to the touch?", Dr. Owens questioned while Will's monitor increased more. "No. Like how you feel when you're scared, and you can't breathe or talk or do anything. I felt... felt this evil, like it was looking at me", Will responded. "It was evil? Well... what do you think the evil wanted?", Dr. Creepy asked. "To kill", Will said while the monitor was going crazy. "To kill you?", Dr. Owens asked Will. "Not me... everyone else", Will answered.

Instead of going into the room with Dr. Owens, Joyce, and Hopper like always, Maddie decided to stay outside with Will. "How was school?", Maddie asked Will knowing he didn't want to discuss his appointment. "It was okay", Will responded quietly. "Well my day was so long", Maddie said stringing out the word "long". "I had to go to the principal's office which was so scary. And he wanted me to show this new kid around who also seemed like he had a younger sister roughly your age. She has red hair. Did you meet her?", Maddie asked Will.

"Yeah she is in my class", Will answered. "What's her name?", Maddie questioned Will with a small smirk. "Max", Will responded. "Well that's a lovely name. My new kid's name was Billy. And I had to show him around the school for the whole entire day. I mean can you imagine how boring that it?", Maddie asked Will who only shrugged in response. "And on top of that I got into a fight with Stevie", Maddie said without thinking causing Will to look at her in question.

"You got into a fight with Steve?", Will questioned now interested in the conversation. "Did I say that?", Maddie asked trying to ignore the elephant that was now in the room. "Mads", Will said wanting to hear the gossip. Just as Maddie was about to be forced into spilling the drama, Joyce, Hopper, and Dr. Owens walked out of the room. "Oh, would you look at that", Maddie said starting to walk away. "Mom, Hopper, Dr. Owens, always a pleasure. See you next week", Maddie said walking away fast. "This isn't over", Will shouted as Maddie continued to walk away.

Maddie walked out of her room to see her mom in the kitchen with her new boyfriend, Bob Newby. Maddie didn't dislike Bob, but he did get on her nerves at times. Instead of having to walk out towards her mom flirting she saw Jonathan walking towards Will's room with a bunch of movies in his hands. Maddie decided to go with Jonathan rather then towards the love birds. When Maddie and Jonathan walked into the room, Will was drawing with the new coloring supplies Maddie got him for Christmas.

"Hey, bud. I didn't know what you'd like, so I got a variety. Take your pick", Jonathan told Will while setting down the movies. "Whatever you want", Will said to Maddie. "All right. What are you working on?", Maddie asked Will with a smile on her face before jumping across Will, laying down next to him while Jonathan sat on the end of his bed. "Zombie Boy? Who's Zombie Boy?", Jonathan asked Will. "Me", Will answered quietly causing Jonathan to ask, "Did someone call you that? Hey. you can talk to us. You know that, right? Whatever happened. Will, come on, talk to us", Jonathan told Will causing an unexpected outburst.

"Stop treating me like that!", Will shouted. "What? Like what?", Jonathan asked. "Like everyone else. Like there's something wrong with me", Will stated. "What are you talking about?", Jonathan questioned him confused. "Mom, Dustin, Lucas. Everyone. They all treat me like I'm gonna break. Like I'm a baby. Like I can't handle things on my own. It doesn't help. It just makes me feel like more of a freak. The only person who doesn't make me feel like a freak is Maddie", Will said making Jonathan say, "You're not a freak". "Yeah, I am. I am", Will stated. After a moment of silence Maddie said, "You're right. You are a freak". "What?", Will questioned confused.

"No we're serious. You're a freak. But what? Do you wanna be normal? Do you wanna be just like everyone else?", Jonathan asked. "Being a freak is the best. I'm a freak. Jonathan's a freak", Maddie stated seriously. "Is that why you don't have any friends?", Will asked Jonathan causing Maddie to burst out laughing. "I have friends, Will", Jonathan chuckled out. "Then why are you always hanging out with me and Maddie?", Will questioned. "Because you guys are my best friends, all right? And I would rather be best friends with a weirdo and "Zombie Boy" than with a boring nobody. You know what I mean?", Jonathan stated making Maddie smile. "Okay, look... Who would you rather be friends with? Bowie or Kenny Rodgers?", Maddie asked Will. "Ugh", Will responded making Maddie add, "Exactly. It's no contest". "The thing is, nobody normal ever accomplished anything meaningful in this world. You got it?", Jonathan asked Will. "Well... some people like Kenny Rogers", Will stated.

Just then Bob came into the doorway. "Kenny Rodgers. I love Kenny Rodgers", Bob said making all three kids chuckle. "What's so funny?", Bob questioned while looking at the stack of movies. "Nothing", the three kids answered still chuckling lightly. "Mr. Mom. Perfect!", Bob shouted happily before walking out of the room. As soon as he leaves the three kids burst into laughter again.

While watching "Mr. Mom", Jonathan was in his own seat, yawning throughout the whole movie. Maddie had Will on her left, who was sharing his popcorn with her. On her right, she had Joyce who was chuckling throughout the whole movie with Bob who was on Joyce's right side. The phone started to ring causing Joyce to start to get up only to be stopped by Bob who told her that it was probably just a prank call.

After the movie was almost done, Maddie checked the time before getting up. "What's wrong?", Joyce questioned. "I just have to make a phone call really quick", Maddie said walking into the other room. She quickly dialed the number and waited. The call rang for a minute before cutting out. She decided to call one more time only to receive no answer. This is the second night in a row that Hopper did not answer the phone. "What is he doing?", Maddie mumbled to herself. Little did she know that Hopper was having dinner with a young girl with the number eleven tattooed on her wrist.

A/N: Just wanted to let you all know that if no one else votes before tomorrow morning then I will be choosing what I think is best for the story. Thank you! Love from the author, over and out!
