"First. Why are you so grumpy?" I poke his cheek.
"I don't know. Maybe cause you've neglected me for the last three chapters!" He folds his arms in a pout.

Seeing Birayn's pouting face, I remember exactly what Clarissa said.
"When you meet your brother's mate. You need to show her your moulemfox (Lex). He is her key. And if you do deside to bind him to her, he has to be fully bound, not that half-nit thing you did with the zebmal and Candice." She told me.
Now I get what she ment. "Lex erabat Birayn lotuak nahi duzu? (Lex do you wish to be fully bound to Birayn?)" I ask him.
He shakes his head in the smallest nod.
"Ondoren, bere kide askatasuna ematen dut. Zaude orain guztiz bere lotuak. Gure fidantza hondatuta dago. (Then I give you freedom to belong to her. You are now fully bound to her. Our bond is broken.)"
He vanishes, and reappears on Birayn's shoulder. With a small white violet in his paw. They're famous in Basque, but really hard to get 'cause they're in the deepest part of the forest.
He must love her already.
"He's your's now." I state. Birayn gapes at me. "But you just said he's bound to you!" She proclaims. "Now he's bound to you. That means he'll do what ever you tell him. And if you die he dies too, so he'll protect you. Though I think he would protect you without being bound." I smirk.
"What? You just bound that little rat to Birayn!?" Kazi bellows at me. I fold my arms. "Yes. You got a problem with that?" I question, glaring at him. "You bet your butt I do!" He growls. "Why? I like him." Birayn frowns. He regards her pouting face and sighs. "Fine."
I mock groan. "Ooooh. Defeated by the puppy face." Then laugh, stopping fast when my vision goes tie-dye.
"Nala? Nala where are you? It's pitch-black in here." A voice I know all to well says.
"I'm over here Clarissa." I call her.
"Can you brighten this place up a little please?" She requests.
"Sure." I lighten the space. "Better?" I ask, when she sees me.
"Yeah, thanks. I still don't get it. I'm the one contacting you, and you're the one that gets to control it! It's not right!"
"So what did you contact me for? It better not be somthing stupid about your pet like last time." I warn her.
"It's nothing like that." She waves it off. "This is of grave importance. You and your brother have to come see me, right now. And his mate, she needs to come too."
"Why can't you just tell me here?"
"My mind's link is not safe right now. Who knows if anybody's listening to us. You must come see me in person." She explains.
"I'll let him know. But I can't promise anything."
"If he puts up a fight, tell him it has to do with..." She scoots closer. "Liylah." She whispers.
"Who's Liylah?" I whisper back.
"He'll know who she is. Bye."
"But wait! Who's.... And she's gone." I sigh and close my eyes.
I open them again only to see and hear Kazi yelling my name, making my head pound. "Shut up. I'm not dead." I grumble. "But I do have a head-ache now, thanks to you." I hit the back of his head, getting out of his arms. "It was just Clarissa, calm down." I say walking out of his room.
I start going down the stairs, then I find him coming after me, Birayn in tow. "Where are you going?" He asks. "I'm going to the kitchen to get some Ibuprofen, for the head-ache you gave me." I reply rubbing my temples.
"What did Clarissa want?" He wonders walking down the stairs. "What if I don't want to tell you?" I question knowing very well that I'm going to tell him, I just want to tease him a little.
"You're going to tell me anyway. What did she want?" He keeps persisting. I stop and glance at Birayn who's still following Kazi with Lex on her shoulder, I look back at Kazi. "Who's Liylah?" I ask instead. "She's Birayns little sister. Why? Did Clarissa say something about her?" He querys.
"Hmm. She just said that we have to go see her, now. And if you refuse to tell you it has to do with Liylah. That's all." I answer continuing down the stairs.
Rather then follow me now that he got his answers, Kazi turns around and leads Birayn back to his room. "I hope you're packed." He shouts over the railing. "Why?" I yell back. "Because, I changed our departure time. We're leaving in ten minutes." He replies loudly closing his bed-room doors.
I enter the kitchen and find a guy rading our fridge. "Who the heck are you? And who said you could eat our food?" I question.
"Name's Pattrick. Jed said I could get something to eat if I wanted to." He answers straighting up, taking one of my glass Jones soda bottles out. "Can I have this?" He asks turning around, facing me.
I look him up and down. "Yeah you can have it. Get me one?" I request siting on a barstool. "Most guys I know don't like these. I'm surprised you do." I comment taking one from him.
"My pregnant sister got me hooked." He says leaning back on the counter.
I nod. I want chocolate. I gasp. "My chocolate!" I jump off the barstool and run over to the other counter. I see the bowl of fruit with my bowl of now hard chocolate. "Awww! I have to remelt it now. Kazi you stink!" I stomp my foot picking the bowl up, I take it over to the stove and turn the flam under the pot of water on.
"What's that?" Pattrick questions peeking over my shoulder.
I gape at him. "WHAT THE HECK DOES IT LOOK LIKE!!!!" I grab the bowl and shove it in his face. "Take a long hard look. It's the most magical thing man has ever found!"
He glances at the bowl. "It appears to be chocolate." He says looking at my face then he smirks. "PMSing?"
"No. I'm actually alot worse when I have a bloody crime scene in my pants thank you very much!" I inform him turning back to my chocolate.
"Naaalaaaa!!!!" All movement stops along with my breathing when I hear that, 'thing' calling my name.

"Awwww!!! You missed meeeeeeee?!?!?!?!?" I crouch down next to him.
"NO!... Okay, maybe. But it was only a little." He says making an inch with his fingers.
"I MISSED YOU TOOOOO!!!!!!" I hug him.
"So what did you want to tell me?" He asks looking at me curiously.
"Oh right! I just started so don't piss me off. Got that? Love you!"
