A long and agonizing flight later and you were finally back at Berk. The whole flight you were left to your thoughts and they wouldn't stop bothering you. Was Viggo going to be okay? What did he think of you? Did you have a chance with him? Would it be different from last time you were in a relationship? Was he still at Berk? What was on the lens you had? Should you have stayed at The Edge? To many questions and not enough answers, it was killing you.

You went to your room in the house that you shared with your father and Hiccup. Thor, it felt like forever since you've been here. The room was pretty small with a window on the other side of the room with a bed in the corner next to it. A closet stood in the corner closest to the door and there was a desk sitting near the end of the bed. You looked out the window to see the familiar view of the morning sky and the ocean dancing below. Just like you remembered. You set your things down and unpacked the few items you brought with. It brought the room back to life. There was a light knock at the door once you finished. You open the door to see Stoick holding some fishing gear.

"Thought you would like to come fishing with me." He suggested, holding out a fishing pole to you. You took the fishing pole and smiled.

"Yeah, might as well." You answered before continuing with a sarcastic tone. "You sure you remember how to fish? I don't think you've gone fishing since you went with Hiccup and I."

"Yeah, Yeah. Lets go." He spoke with his usual gruff tone and started heading out of the house with you not to far behind.

You both made it to the shore and began fishing. You put the bait on the hook and cast the line out into the calm water. Stoick did the same and you both fished quietly.

"So, Hiccup tells me that you have been distracted, that's why he sent you back here. Care to explain?" Stoick broke the silence.

"Oh, Well, with everything that's been going on at The Edge I guess I have been... a little stressed." You answered a bit awkwardly.

"Understandable. Just remember not to stress yourself out too much. I also wanted talk to about you being the next chiefess."

"I told you, dad. Hiccup can be chief, I don't want anything to do with it." You felt the fishing rod twitch. You waited for more movement before quickly jigging the rod and hooking the fish. Reeling the fish in you see its a decent sized Perch. The fish squirms was you remove the hook from the fish's mouth. You throw the fish in the basket and cast the line out again.

"Alright, fine. But what do you plan on doing later in your life?"

"What's with all the big questions?" You chuckled, "I don't know, haven't thought that far ahead."

"I just want to make sure you know what your doing and not just wasting your life away. And if you want some ideas for what you can do then maybe you can start family. Have some kids-"

"I don't like kids and last time I almost got married it didn't end well." You cut him off and your tone immanently changed.

"Okay, no kids. But you need to figure out what you're going to do." He reeled in a fish in threw it in the basket.

"Yeah..."

The both of you fished for a few more hours before taking the fish back to the house to be cleaned. When finished you took a walk around Berk. The sun was just setting as you watched the clouds fly overhead. All was peaceful until you head a voice that sent chills up your spine. A voice that was all to familiar to you.

"(Y/n), there you are! I thought you were on Dragons Edge trying to avoid me. Still sucks you had to cancel our wedding."

You turned around and faced him as he approached you. He had brown eyes, blonde hair tied into a bun and a beard. He wore mostly fur based clothing and had leather strap across his chest that held quiver and bow to his back.

(For visuals, this is kind of what I had in mind for his face)

"Rowan, you know perfectly well why we did not get married. You don't love me, you never did, I was just part of your plan. I figured out a lot more than you think." You narrowed your eyes and crossed your arms. Navjeev came up beside you and went to sniff his hand. Rowan quickly pulled his hand away and glared at the dragon. Navjeev huffed and lightly growled before sitting down next to you.

"What are you talking about? I loved you so much, I still do!" He took his eyes off Navjeev and sent you  bright smile. He would sound sincere to anyone else, but after everything you knew he was anything but sincere.

"You're so full of shit your eyes are turning brown. You only wanted to marry me so you could become the next chief!" You stared daggers into him. If looks could kill he would already be dead.

"Honey, please. I would never do any of that I swear. I don't know where you heard any of this, but I would never say that." He reached a hand out to you, but Navjeev stepped in font of you and growled. He immediately took a step back and rested his hand at his side.

"Try to touch me again and I will chop off both your hands and feed them to Navjeev, you lying prick." You spat, "You wanted to marry me so you could be chief and start hunting dragons again, but I'm not going to let that happen."

"Honey-"

"You were going to use me so you could have authority over Berk! You were going to use Berk so you could hunt dragons! I heard everything you said that day!" You spat and he went silent. His face was purely shock, but it changed back to a smile, but something more sinister.

"I still don't know what your taking about, honey." He chuckled lowly. "You must be insane if have made this whole thing up just so you didn't have to marry me."

You gave a hard and swift slap to the face. He stumbled back and stared coldly at you. "Leave. Now." You scowled.

"Excuse you?" He growled and held his face were you slapped him.

"Leave Berk now. You are no longer welcome here."

"You may be the chief's daughter, but you don't have that kind of authority" He laughed.

"No, but I do." Stoick came beside you and put a hand on your shoulder. "I've heard enough, pack your things and leave." His voice was full of resentment. Rowan's eyes widen with shock.

"W-what?" He stuttered, still shocked.

"You heard me. Leave!" Stoick took a threating step forward and Rowan scowled before walking away.

You were on the verge of tears, but you held a scowled look. Stoick turned back to you and pulled you into a hug. He let go after a few moments and held onto your shoulders.

"You alright?" He asked so softly it almost didn't sound like him.

"Yeah, I just need a minute..." You pulled away from him and went toward the house with Navjeev following close behind.

You closed your bedroom door behind you. You sat on the bed and Navjeev layed his head down in your lap trying to comfort you. You were glad he was finally gone, if felt like a weight was lifted off your chest. Rowan was never really the kindest to you and it felt good to say that he wasn't your problem anymore. Not your problem.
