Momma V woke us up early, too early if you ask me. Based on how dark the cave was, the sun wasn't even up yet but she still woke us for some reason. Actually, it was more Momma V woke Navjeev up then he flapped his wings in excitement and ended up slapping Viggo and I. I wasn't too mad though, he was happy to be back with his mom.

Navjeev trotted out of the den to do his morning hunting but Momma V called him back with a bark like call. His ears drooped in disappointment but he came back to the den. She licked his head then turned to us a look that said 'stay'.

She cooed to her two children and walked out of the den and towards the Queen's cave. Her little one, who I named Sprout, jumped around and annoyed Zyran.

While Viggo dug through our bags to get food, I went to the exit of the den and watched Momma V.

"Fairly sure she wanted us to stay here for the time being." Viggo said just as I set a foot outside the den.

"Yeah, I know. I just want to get a look at this place." I looked back at Navjeev and saw him playing tug of war with Sprout. "I really thought Navjeev was the last of his kind."

I looked around the giant cave and at a few of the waking dragons sitting on ledges. Most of them sat in pairs which made me assume that they were mates. It made me wonder where Navjeev's father was.

"He has family here now and more of his species. Not as much can be said about the Night Fury but there might be more out there." Viggo tapped my arm and gave me some bread to which I took.

"Maybe there is some around here." I said then took a bite of the bread which was slightly stale.

"We can find out some other time, right now we need to figure out what these dragons want. Momma V had to have brought us here for a reason, not just because of Navjeev." He stopped and thought for a moment. I gave him a questioning look and he elaborated further.

"Based on her reaction when we got here, she knew the Queen didn't like humans yet she brought us here anyways. There has to be a reason for that, they need us for something." He looked at me and I nodded slowly, understanding what he means.

Momma V stopped at the entrance of the den and cooed to us, throwing her head in the direction of the exit. Behind her, I saw the Queen staring at us coldly. Her gaze wasn't as aggressive and hostile as last time but she still looked at us with a warning.

Viggo put a hand on my shoulder and the heat from it left as he walked over to Zyran. I felt the Queen's eyes on us as we saddled up our dragons. As I finished saddling Navjeev, Ravi jumped on his back and I scratched her chin to which she loudly purred.

I got into the saddle and Viggo did the same with Zyran, I noticed the Queen had this look of disgust on her face. Momma V cooed to Sprout then looked to us before heading towards the exit. The Queen huffed as we walked past her, following Momma V.

She led us out of the cave and jumped into the air. Our dragons opened their wings and followed her. As we flew, I noticed a few islands that looked familiar on the map.

After an hour or so of following her, she lead us to another island. It was a fairly large island with trees that covered one half of it. I could faintly see buildings on the island. These building weren't on the map, had we gone farther than I thought? I noticed something else, a few dragons flew over the island.

Was the island being attacked? No, none of the dragons were firing and they didn't seem hostile.

They must be friends with dragons like us.

Momma V hovered in the air a few miles away from the island. She looked at the island with a glare in her eyes then gestured with her head towards the island.
