Chapter five: The explanation

Dipper's pov

'where should I start' I signed and at this point my mom just translated everything.

'So back when mom and dad got divorced dad became more depressed. He started drinking and it would just get worse to the point he would come home completely drunk and pass out on the couch.' I said and everyone had a kinda worried look on their faces.

'He would use the money we had for beer and so we didn't have a lot of food on the house so it was rare that I had food to eat.' As these words where being translated I could see everyone start tearing up and heard some muffled sobs from Mable.

'At times of I didn't do what he wanted or not do something fast enough he would first yell at me... then he would hit m-me or ev-even..' I stopped for a second while years where rolling down my face and then finally signed ' or even throw a glass bottle at me'

I watched as everyone started crying then bill said "is that how you got that cut on your arm."

I just nodded then bill came over and hugged me. I could feel myself slightly blushing but I almost instantly started crying quietly. Then everyone joined in on the hug and I'm sure I made the right discission to come here for help.

After a while we all went to the lake to swim to cool our heads off. I was sitting on the sand when bill walked up to me and said " you look really good in that swim suit Dipper~" I felt my self blush and thought 'man bills hot.' I mean who can blame me he's a hot ten with abs and an handsome face.

Bill chuckles and wipers in my ear "Thanks Pine tree ~" then he backs away "come on get in the water it's amazing" bill said while jumping in the lake.

'alright' I got up and stuck my toes in the water and I gotta admit it was pretty nice. But out of no where I was pulled into the water. Once I resurfaced I looked at bill and said "your going to get it now" I then paused 'ohh crap'

Bill looked shocked but then his expression softened then he said "well you have to catch me first.

'where is that brat he needs to clean up this mess' I walked up to Dipper's room and opened the door. He wasn't there so I just figured he was at school.

A little later

He hasn't come home where is he. I started to get angry and went up stairs. I slammed his door open to see if I could find a clue to where he was gone. Then I see an old photo. He went to Gravity Falls but when I get my hands on that kind I'ma.

And time skip.

We were back at the shack but me and bill where hanging out on the roof.

"So you can talk" said bill

"Ya I can" I said

"So why don't you"

"I stoped talking to others when my dad told that the divorce was my fault and I knew it wasn't true but I kept blaming myself and only talked when I was alone so I wouldn't loose my voice"

"I'm sorry Dipper I wish I came to you sooner"

"It's not your fault but you are the first person I have talked to in years . "
