A/N -- Hi sweet Beatle peeps! Happy Saturday! Finally an update! 1960 flows into 1961 and the Lads are beginning to get a following. When Kate and Desiree went to pick up Cyn and Dot, Cyn was feverish and ill, shaking under her blanket as they checked on her.
"I have to go," she cried. "John will kill me if I don't."
"You're too sick, Cyn. Stay in bed and rest or you'll end up in hospital," Kate told her, pulling the blanket under her chin.
"Kate and I and her friend Desiree are going. They'll be plenty of people there. Don't worry," Dot assured her.
Cyn finally gave in and decided to stay home under the covers with the hot tea Kate made for her. She and Dot promised to tell her everything that happened and how the boys played. Kate said she would break the news to John that Cyn was too sick to come with them.
"Keep an eye on him," Cyn asked in her scratchy voice. "And don't tell him to come here or he'll get sick too."
"Okay," Dot told her. "Don't worry. We'll look after him."
