Happy Weekend my dear, lovely Beatle people! I hope you are enjoying your Friday night. I am roasting over an open oven because it is still very hot here. 96 degrees today. Hello global warming. And things are heating up for our characters too. Is Vladimir on the level or still being a skirt-chasing asshole? Will George's jealousy cause a rift between them? Ah, who knows. The Casbah Coffee Club was filled to the rafters for their New Year's Eve celebration. The music played, the food flowed and Kate, Cyn and Dot had to smash together and lean against a wall because it was so crowded.
"I don't think they know we're here," Dot lamented. "There's too many people."
"We can try to get closer to the stage," Cyn offered. "But that might be pretty tricky."
"Maybe if just one of us goes, they could make it," Kate suggested. "Who's going to attempt it?"
Cyn and Dot pointed their index fingers back to Kate.
"Thanks," she sighed and turned to face the crowd, puffing up to look intimidating. "If I'm not back in 20, call the guard," she told Cyn and Dot over her shoulder.
"Right," they agreed.
It took a long time to filter through the mass of people but when she was almost there, she heard George call her name and she turned to his voice. He came down to the front of the stage and Kate was able to tell him they were all here. There was one second he wanted to kiss her, but thought better of it. He was already taking shit from John and Paul about Kate, so he nodded, touched her chin and went back to his position.
