"Wait..", interrupted Taehyung as you stopped and looked at him waiting for him to continue

"You.. have a sister?? Oh maaa gawdd", he exclaimed causing you to blink your eyes in surprise and chuckle

"I never told you? Yes I do have..a sister", you said and pressed your lips together into a thin line

"Wow she must be so cute I can tell", he silently giggled while you let out a dry chuckle too

"Yeah she is..", you mumbled shaking your head

Taking a breath in you spoke, "Mom and dad used to fight most of the time. And even though me and my sister, we both used to bicker a lot, I mean.. that's what siblings do..I always tried my best to keep her away from these things. I remember distracting her or taking her away whenever they used to fight, because I know.. that's the worse you can witness as a child"

"I did all this just to hear her say...", You paused a little as a flashback came into your mind

"I hate you! I wish I never had a sister like you!"

"And I haven't seen her after that...those were her last words to me", you just blinked and pressed your lips together again, gulping down the lump in your throat.

While Taehyung listened to your each and every word, feeling hurt himself.

"I mean... actually when I was 12..One day when I returned from school I saw mom crying, and when I asked why, she asked me to go away and don't mind her. That continued to few days and I noticed how dad didn't care. That's when I realised what mom used to say was right"

"They never told me what actually happened and suddenly this one day, dad said we're moving in with uncle Kim, dad's elder brother. He was so sweet..
I thought all four of us would move in together but no, after dropping us at his home. It was the same apartment I'm still living in.
Mom and dad said they'll be right back..but neither mom nor dad...none of them did so"

"Uncle Kim was nice but his wife, means my so known Aunt wasn't. She hated the fact we were staying with them...and...to be honest somewhat she was right. I mean ...all the expenses... I was just glad about this one thing that she didn't hate my sister much..so she used to take care of her"

You took a small pause in between, as you felt your chest getting tightened remembering everything.

"Then one day, when I had almost turned 13.. I woke up in the morning..only to find no one in the house..like no-one..it was so silent.. everyone was gone. And i don't even know where. I still remember that day, godd..the way I panicked and cried. I cried like- nevermind.
Took me days to get over that shit. Turned out, aunt was so done with me that she forced uncle Kim to take all of them to a house of theirs in Japan, except me. He still left some money for me though.."

You stopped talking and looked at the figure beside you.
Who was already staring at you with so many emotions in his eyes.

Your face saddened as a hurt expression took place.

Tears weld up in your eyes and your lower lip trembled as you remembered about your mom...what that old lady told you about her that day..

"I d-on't.. I still don't k-know about dad..but...", you gulped and shuttered

» Flashback

"H..ey..dear..Are you perhaps..Y/n..? K..ang?", And after turning around while frowning you found an old lady standing with a very sly smile and shining eyes, pointing towards your direction with her trembling hand.
