as soon as they heard the alarm, chaewon and chanhee intertwined their fingers and the man laid a kiss on her forehead before taking her out of the room.

"just stay right behind me." chanhee grabbed his gun and they started to follow the hallway in silence. the both of them heard gunshots and shared a glance, the blue haired man just put a finger on his lips.

fastening the pace, they reached the stairs, where they could see the bodyguards fighting with some other men. they turned back quickly and ran to the elevator before they could be seen. he pushed chaewon inside and closed the door, pressing the '2' button.

"what should we do?" she asked and moved closer to him. she was visibly nervous about it, naturally.

chanhee turned to her and pressed his lips together. "okay, you will go to the left, run and open the first door you see. in the room, you will open the closet and get in, there are secret passages that will lead you outside, okay?" he said and raised his eyebrows.

"" she tried to complain even though she was trembling with her whole body.

"chaewon. think wisely. we both know that you're in danger here, and i'm not risking that. please. listen to me and do as i told." his voice was nervous too, ahe could feel the fear in his eyes, it was kinda new to here.

she eventually nodded slightly and looked down.

"but… you?"

"don't worry about me, birdie. you know i have this under my control, nothing will happen to me." he rolled his eyes playfully and glanced at the security camera. he then pressed his lips on hers one more time before hearing the doors opening. "now, go. you need to get away."

chaewon took a deep breath and started to do as he told her. she rushed into the hallway, knowing that chanhee was somewhere behind her, covering her. she opened a door and as he predicted, there was a closet. she ran to it searching for a way out inside. at the back of the closet was a secret door that she opened easily.

the secret passage was really small, but all chaewon wanted to do was to get the hell out of there. after a moment in what looked like a vent, she saw the reflection of the glowing moon in the metal wall. she reached the exterior, she was finally free. she removed the grille to remember that she had to jump off the 2nd floor to be able to run away.

but she couldn’t renounce now. as she heard gunshots from the inside, she did it anyway, even if she knew that she would hurt herself. as soon as she touched the ground, she let out a loud grunt from the impact. she could feel her legs bleeding again, it had been a very bad idea.

as she was trying to calm herself, the moon reflected on something else. she looked up to figure out what and that's when she saw a motorbike parked in front of her.

'blackout' was written on the side, this was the use of this card chanhee and eric gave her. she smiled to herself and hopped on the bike, putting on the helmet that was hanging on the steering bar. even with the growing pain in her legs, she turned the motorbike on and started to drive away. she was so stressed and she didn't know where she was supposed to go. she didn't even know the location of the mansion.

the mansion was surrounded by fields, and a single road could lead her somewhere. she heard something behind her, she understood that someone was following her. another motorbike was not so far from her, and she noticed it by the growling sound of the motor in the distance.

she tried her best to keep the gap between the two vehicles but it seemed that the person following her was faster than her. she then heard a gunshot, and it didn't miss. the conductor shot in the tire, which made chaewon's motorbike fall down on the road with her rolling painfully, getting scratches everywhere.

she grunted as her head banged against the floor a few times until she completely stopped moving. she weakly held her helmet on her head, inhaling suddenly as she saw the driver jump off the other motorbike. still, she recognized him quickly.

"who the fuck are you?!" sunwoo shouted as he ran to her, wrapping one of his hands around her neck as he pointed a gun at her helmet. "tell me before i shoot you in the head!"

chaewon tried to get out of his grip, desperately hitting his arms, out of breath. when he understood that he couldn't get any answers with the helmet on,  he removed it violently. the girl coughed as sunwoo gasped as he saw her face.

he got up and stared at her, taking his head in his hands. "w-what were you even doing here?!" he screamed and grabbed her arm forcefully to lift her up.

"no! let me go!" she struggled but he was way too strong for her. he was already leading her to his motorbike. as they reached the vehicle, sunwoo brought a syringe of his pocket to put it in her arm. she instantly dozed off. this whole plan had been ruined.
