as the night passed, all the members gathered in the wheelhouse —except for chanhee of course, trying to find a place to escape as they agreed to leave at dawn. haknyeon looked to his right, changmin was at the corner of the room, looking at the dock and at the small waves entering the port through the large windows.

"it sucks to be him." sunwoo joked as he brought his face close to haknyeon's ear so he was the only one able to hear him.

he turned my head to sunwoo, having his lips pressed against each other. "do you think sangyeon would really kick him out?" he wondered in a whisper.

"i guess so? he's not really the type to joke about that."

sunwoo went back to the others as haknyeon just sighed. everything was always so complicated with them. he was still staring at him when changmin turned his head to him, he looked very sad. maybe he has always seemed like nothing could reach him, this time was clearly different.

"okay guys, we may have something." his thoughts were cut by sangyeon's voice. haknyeon jolted up from the metal box he was sitting on and walked to the oldest. "we might have to get back to our old mansion in seoul, the police have already settled some patrols in the city, it's not safe anymore." he explained, and everyone nodded because they knew that sangyeon was still angry at them.

"what about heo hajoon then?" kevin asked, leaving the city meant leaving their target behind them.

sangyeon sighed eternally, rubbing his eyebrows as he looked at the floor.

"that can wait for another day, we will catch him in the end anyway. but all that matters right now, is to be safe."

the boys agreed, and finally they got dismissed.

i went down to my cabin, grabbing all my belongings and stuffed them in my bag as everyone did. i had heard that chanhee and eric were with chaewon, so i didn't have anything to worry about anymore. i knew that everyone had something else in his mind. to me, it was a good thing, returning to seoul. not that i didn't wanted to found heo hajoon, but he had been acting like an actual ghost for the last few weeks. i was scared that he had escaped with a ship. all i knew was that he was either up to something or trying to disappear. we were all weakened by the last days, sangyeon included.

but something was weird.

and that was why i wanted to go back home as soon as possible.

when i was done, i opened the metal door of my room and got out. i let out a sigh and went to sangyeon's cabin. i knocked on the door slightly, earning a small hum from him. i entered the room, he was packing as well.

"yeon." i called him as i stepped in, and he looked up at me. "it's almost time, i think you should go check on the others." i continued.

he looked at his watch before nodding at my words.  "you're right, we're leaving in a short while." he smiled faintly and pointed at the door, signaling me to leave. i did as instructed.

i found juyeon in the corridor, who was leaning against the concrete wall, his eyes catching mine.

"i don't feel it so well." he admitted as i joined him, resting myself next to him as my gaze was fixed on the floor. see? i wasn't alone thinking that.

"same... i don't why but i feel like something is about to happen. i just want to go home..." i honestly spoke, closing my eyes for a while.

as juyeon got distracted by sangyeon exiting his room, i peeked at my leg, my wound wouldn't heal well. i had got this one at the docks, the night we thought we would have heo hajoon. the more i was looking at it, the more it would hurt.

"haknyeon!" my name echoed throughout the hallway, making me lift my head up, everyone was waiting for me at the end of it. "come on! we're leaving now!" jacob said softly as i shook my head and followed him. i was behind the members, my pocket knife in hand, just in case.

chaewon was between us, secured by eric's hand wrapped around her wrist. chanhee, him was walking next to me. sangyeon got a message, he smiled and showed his phone to everyone.

"our men are outside with the van." he said simply.

arriving in front of the last door separating us from the port, younghoon opened it with a grunt. we walked on the small wooden bridge that would lead us to the van, but then my leg started to sting more. my head started to feel dizzy and all my muscles were getting numb. i stopped walking, letting myself collapse on the floor.
