after the attack, the boyz hurriedly had to find a new place to stay in, so they found an abandoned cargo in the docks. still, they needed to search for something else if they didn't want to be attacked by the intruders again. a ship wasn't a place where they could stay without being seen. the recent events made the police start to search for them again. with that, the mysterious intruders were probably tracking them as well. everyone was on the main deck when hyunjae bursted out, startling the members.

"chanhee what the hell?!" he yelled and walked furiously in his direction.

"what..?" the man stepped back and frowned as the other members just stayed there, staring at them silently.

"you let her escape on purpose didn't you?!" again, his loud voice echoed on the boat, making younghoon turn around to see if anyone was there to hear them. fortunately, the dock was empty at that hour of the day.

after he spoke, the silence was even more tense and heavy. now, everyone's head was turned towards chanhee. sangyeon tilted his head at hyunjae's words, emerging from behind to approach the two males.

"hyunjae, shut it." he said sternly, making the brown haired boy huff in silence. then, he looked at chanhee, who wasn't moving from an inch. "is that true? tell me." he addressed the boy.

"it is not. i did not make her escape. i just couldn't let her be hurt." he explained, and as he did so, changmin felt his blood boiling unexpectedly. sangyeon somehow noticed it, and tried to prevent him from doing anything but it was too late.

changmin grabbed chanhee by the collar and pushed him against the bulwark, making him groan in pain.

"are you crazy? what if we had lost her?!" changmin shouted at him as jacob hurried to pull him backwards.

"would you rather have her dead?! if i hadn't gotten her out, she would have been killed!" chanhee yelled back angrily, his fists shaking as he took a step ahead.

"that's enough." sangyeon growled like a storm, although the boys weren't paying attention at all.

changmin pushed jacob harshly, throwing a furious gaze toward chanhee. hyunjae also joined again, shaking him by the shoulders aggressively. the two started to attack him, giving him kicks and punches. the blue haired boy fell down on the floor and covered his face with his hands, not able to protect himself more.

"please!!" chanhee cried out as jacob, followed by eric and juyeon, tried to get them off the blue haired man.

"STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" sangyeon finally yelled at them. the shouts died down, everyone let go of the one they were holding and chanhee covered weakly his punched cheek, backing away from everyone. changmin was fulminating, wanting to finish him up so much. "is that all you cost?! i never thought i would be so disappointed in you all." he ended.

younghoon shared a glance with him and pulled chanhee with him to the medical room they had prepared in the rush. seeing chanhee in that state made jacob lower his head, following them to help to take care of the wounds.

"i'm sorry.." hyunjae told him, feeling sangyeon's intense gaze on him and changmin.

"you two, fuck it up once more and you're out." he threatened, shocking the most of the members. never he had told that to any of them.

changmin eyes never left chanhee's figure, even when he had left, he was looking straight at the now closed metal door. he knew something was wrong, but even if he told sangyeon, he would never believe him.

"let's just go back to work, we need to find somewhere else quickly, right?" juyeon suggested, turning his head towards the leader to have his opinion. sangyeon nodded his head and glared at hyunjae and changmin before heading back inside the ship.

the others followed, and changmin decided to go to the room chaewon was in. it was located at the end of a long hallway, so it took him a few minutes to get there.

when he entered the room, the girl was still there, her wrists cuffed to the bed.

"please detach me." were her first words to the boy.

"can't." he simply answered, his eyes falling on the plate of food next to her. he realized that she couldn't eat because of the handcuffs, so he smiled at her and got closer. "need any help?" chaewon shrugged one of her shoulders, making him scoff. "sit up if you're hungry then."

she did as said, even if the cuffs were really hurting her, she didn't say anything about it.
