Nishinoya Yu- Another Love

Warnings: Soulmate Strings AU 

Nishinoya's POV:

Today is my 17th birthday. The year I get my soulmate string. A soulmate string is when you get a small string(obviously) around your pinkie finger. Everybody has a soulmate. Those two people will have matching colours, and their soulmate's name will be on their wrist. 

I looked down at my hands, seeing a dark purple string and the name (L/N)(M/N). 

Really! He has had a girlfriend for three years. There is no way we are soulmates. It must be a mistake. If people found out that we were soulmates, I'd be done for.

I sighed, covering my wrist with some of my mom's foundation.  I slung my backpack over my shoulder, preparing for the walk to school. As I neared the school, the sound of gym chatter startled me awake. I turned my lips into a wide smile, preparing to act like a fool. Slowly, I opened the door, seeing (M/N)!?

"HEY BRO!" Tanaka greeted me. 

"BRO!" I returned with the same force.

"Okay boys quiet down now that everyone is here we will welcome our new teammate." Daichi directed, glaring at us. 

New teammate?! Now he'll be everywhere I go. He probably knows we are soulmates, too. FUCK Yu. Why do you have the worst luck. 

I was knocked out my thoughts as Tanaka slapped me on the back.

"(L/N)! This is Noya, the AMAZING libero." Tanaka introduced me.

(M/N)'s eyes looked up and down at me, causing a blush to emerge on my cheeks. Tanaka continued introducing everyone, leaving me to stare at the tall and handsome man that was considered to be my soulmate. 

"Noya!" Daichi shouted.

"YES Captain?" I stood in an army pose. He shook his head and continued.

"Help (L/N) with his receives, will ya?" He instructed.

"YEP!" I answered cheerfully.

~Time skip- after practice in the bathroom~

"Hey Noya- san, can we talk?" (M/N) ran up to me as I dried my hands under the dryer. 

"Uhmm okay. What's up?" I asked leaning against the wall, crossing my arms. 

"I know we're soulmates." He blurted out. My face dropped in sadness.

"Yes I know, but you are in a healthy relationship, and I respect you." I spoke honestly, voice wavering slightly.

"Healthy? What do you mean?" He laughed at me, staring down at me.

"Aren't you still dating?" I wondered, face full of shock.

"What no! She's actually a lesbian, she has had a soulmate for a while, but stayed with me to keep me happy." He muttered incoherent sentences.

"Oh. I'm sorry." I apologized for his break up.

"No it's fine. Plus I've got myself a cute little soulmate. Don't I" He smirked, leaning over me, arms on either of my sides, pressed against the wall.

"I-uh." I couldn't find the words, but I didn't have to.

He pressed his soft lips against mine roughly with sweetness. My eyes closed in pure happiness. His hands slipped up my shirt, earning a gasp out of me. (M/N) used this opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth, exploring each crevice. I sighed into the kiss as he pulled away. 

"I- do you want to go on a date?" (M/N) asked, panting slightly.

My lips froze, so I nodded furiously agreeing to his date. 

"Okay meet me at the gates after school is over. Bye cutie!" He waved, smirking as he left.
