The Impractical Joker/The Joker's Provokers

Chapter 11

In another building, Cornelia was primping herself in the mirror while the Joker watched through the window.

"It's a cool pad, Joker" said Cornelia.

"Bah! All you've seen of this cool pad, Cornelia, is that mirror. Vanity is a waste of time. I never look at myself" said the Joker.

"Well, I'm younger, Joker, and a girl. And it is a cool pad" said Cornelia.

"Well, it will do for the purpose" said the Joker.

"Do you really think Batman's smart enough to find it?" said Cornelia.

"Oh, he's an adversary almost worthy of me, Cornelia. Those Warriors are the smartest little minions for him too. They're too smart to not find anything. But soon, they'll all only be skeletons of worthy adversaries" the Joker cackled. 

He looked out the window again and saw the Batmobile pull into the lot.

"Sooner than I planned, in fact. There's the Batmobile now. The Dynamic Duo are somewhat unorthodox, Cornelia, and the Warriors can fly. No doubt they'll be coming up the outside wall. You know what to do, Latch and Bolt will help while Uncle Clavier double checks his human key duplicator" said the Joker. 

"You mean a real live one?" said Cornelia.

"Ah, you'll see, Cornelia. Oh, at last the end of Batman and Robin is in sight. And of course the end of the Three Warriors shall follow. And I can start planning the craftiest caper of my career!" the Joker laughed.

While the Warriors flew, Batman and Robin used their Batropes to climb the wall of the building.

Just then, a window opened and the one opening it was none other than Sam Stone.

"Your daily workout, Batman?" said Sam Stone. 

"Yes, crimefighters have to stay in shape. But you knew that" said Batman.

"Well, my job's a little easier. Sometimes, a fast gun has the edge on a fast Bat-rope. I'm not invading your territory; I'm just tracking down clue incognito" said Sam Stone.

"Welcome and good luck. If you need help you can locate us through Commissioner Gordon's office" said Batman.

"The Batphone number is unlisted" said Robin.

"Smart thinking" said Sam Stone.

He closed his window as the Dynamic Duo continued climbing.
