Twenty six

Billie woke up in bed and realised that she was alone. She sat up and frowned as Tom walked into the room

"I woke up and you weren't here. I didn't like it" she said as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"Sorry I had a phone call to take. I didn't want to wake you I know how tired you are. I made you a coffee" he said as she took it from him and smiled as she leant in and kissed him

He placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"How are you feeling"

"Tired and hungry. The sickness seems to have passed but o still feel sick. I do fancy a McDonald's breakfast though" she said as Tom smiled

"Well how about we head there's before work" Tom said as billie looked to him and smiled

"What would I do without you" she said as she leant in and kissed him. He kissed her back and smiled

"I told you baby I am all in this is my baby too and I can't wait to be a dad and do it properly" Tom said as she looked to him and smiled

"I just know that you are going to be a great dad" billie said.

Billie knew all that she and Tom had been through and she knew that it hasn't been easy but she was pregnant and they were together and they were working hard to make it work and it was all that she wanted

Billie stood in the staffroom and smiled as Megan walked in "how's Mia?" Billie asked as Megan looked to her and smiled

"She's good she's excited to meet her little cousin. Have you found out what your having" Megan asked

"No not for a few weeks but I think that Tom and I are going to wait until I give birth I like the thought of not knowing" billie said as Megan looked to her and smiled

"That will be nice. I know it's been complicated but I can see how happy that you and Tom are and you deserve it. I know what happened but it was for the best in the end and I just want you to be happy" Megan said as billie looked to her sister and smiled

Billie was glad that after everything that had happened that she and Tom were happy and that her relationship with her sister was okay

Billie smiled as she walked into toms classroom "is everything okay" he asked as she nodded

"Give me your hand" she said as he frowned as she took his hand as he smiled as he felt the kick

"That's our baby. We made this" he said as she smiled

"Yeah we did and it's all going to be okay" billie said as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as he pulled her close

Billie knew it was all a mess. But she knew how good that she and tom were and they were having a baby no matter what it took

Billie knew that she just wanted everything to be okay
