Chapter - 15

Third Person's POV

Anika and Nitika both sisters were laying together on Anika’s bed, tonight they will
sleep together in Anika’s room. Sometimes they do, when anything happens… one of
them is tense or sad. They sleep with
each other at night to accompany each other. Tonight Anika was tense, as
tomorrow Aniket and all other family members will meet with Ishaan.

Though Ishaan said don’t take any tension but still Anika was worried.

NITIKA : Di, Tomorrow Mihir will also come with Rishi uncle… right?

ANIKA : you only care about yourself… right? I don’t know whether Mihir bhai will come or not.

NITIKA : di, can you please ask him? Please please please.

ANIKA : why?

NITIKA : If he would come then I have to dress up properly, then I have to wake up early and do some facial care and –

ANIKA : ok ok enough… I understood. I will ask…fine? Now stop your dramas.

Anika was thinking about her things when Nitika nudge her through her elbow.

ANIKA : what?? (Said Irritatedly)

NITIKA : I have noticed something… I don’t know if is that true or not… I just notice… I was
just thinking..

ANIKA : oh ho stop beating around the bush… what do you want to say, say it directly?

NITIKA : di, have you ever noticed the awkwardness between Rishi uncle and Mom?

ANIKA : What? (Tilting her head towards Nitika)

NITIKA : haven’t you ever noticed the awkwardness between them?

ANIKA : what awkwardness, you are talking about? (said in a confused tone)

NITIKA : oh ho… I don’t know why you have never noticed but I notice… that’s why I am
little afraid also.

ANIKA : Niti, I am already sleepy… can you please make your statement clear!!!

NITIKA : ok…let me say you clearly (sat on the bed from laying form) I have noticed
whenever Rishi uncle comes, mom always tries to avoid him, like sometimes she
go out of the house  or went to other
room or just avoid him in some way. I always feel some awkwardness in their
conversation also.

Anika looked at Nitika's face very seriously for some time.

ANIKA : do you know why you always notice all of these things?

NITIKA : why?

ANIKA : Because your brain is empty… you have nothing to do all day. Do some studies,
then you will not notice this kind of nonsense thing. Idiot!

NITIKA : No really… (pouted)

ANIKA : Shut up!

Pouting, Nitika again laid down beside her sister, Anika.

ANIKA : by the way, even if there is any awkwardness in their relationship, why are you afraid?

NITIKA : of course, I have to be afraid. If really their relationship isn’t good then what
if in future they don’t accept my relationship with Mihir. (Said turning Anika’s side)

ANIKA : You know Niti, what I want to do now?

NITIKA : what?

ANIKA : kick you out of my bed….if you don’t stop speaking nonsense I will definitely do
that. One more thing, concentrate on your Study, if you fail then Mihir will
even not look at you and I will make sure that he will marry a  good girl.

NITIKA : Hey… hey.. Hey don’t say that.. I will study. (Said hugging her sister)

ANIKA : hmmph! Sleep.

Both sisters gradually fell asleep hugging each other.

Anika was very nervous, she didn’t know what her papa, mamus and Rishi uncle will talk with Ishaan.

Ishaan has arrived and her papa has taken him to his office room where Karan and Kabir mamu, and Rishi uncle are also present. She didn’t understand what will they talk
with him that they have needed so much privacy.
