Chapter - 48

Third Person’s POV

At night in a reputed hospital two women were standing far away from an operation theatre and looking at the person who was pushed into the OT by a nurse.

“If he were my son would I have stopped him?”

“He is your son, dear. You are not doing anything wrong by not stopping him."

Everyone has come to the Kapoor Mansion. The whole Mehta and Ahuja family. After knowing about Anika’s condition Kabir has also come from London with his family. They all were present here to cheer up Anika. So that Anika doesn’t feel alone. Everyone was shocked hearing Ishaan’s reaction. They have never expected this kind of reaction from Ishaan.

After talking with all of them Anika is now much better. But still, they all can feel her pain. Who will not be sad? When such a drastic change has happened, why will she not be sad? She has every reason to be sad. But they didn’t want her to feel sad. So everyone was always keeping her busy with something. Deepti also came back. She has asked for forgiveness from Anika for revelling the whole truth in front of Ishaan. Though she has said that she wasn’t regretting it. She thinks it was the right decision. No one was blaming her not ever Anika.

Seeing everyone was trying so much to keep her happy Anika also tried to be happy for them. But her heart was full of pain.

Though she wanted this but thinking that maybe after divorcing her, Ishaan will live with another woman and love her. Thinking all this was giving her pain. But she had no option. She knows how much Ishaan wants baby. She was just blaming her luck.
When everyone was engrossed in some conversation and Anika also tried to involved in it and tried to be happy for her family members, Ishaan entered the house with some documents in his hand.

Seeing him smile every one's faces vanished. They all thought Ishaan has come to give back the divorce papers. Everyone worriedly looked at Anika. Kritika was beside Aniket and Nitika was beside Mihir. Both mother and daughter held their partners' hands tightly and there were tears on both their faces. Seeing Ishaan both of their tears started to fall.

Anika approached Ishaan slowly. She wanted this time to stop. She had started this, but now she was very afraid to face the final result.

Ishaan gave Anika a white envelope. Anika accepted that with trembling hand… she was so engrossed looking at Ishaan's face that she missed the logo on the white envelope.
After taking the documents Anika hadn’t had that much courage to check the papers. So she hurriedly turned back. Tears started to fall from her eyes. Seeing Anika everyone was feeling sad and they were feeling anger towards Ishaan. Anika was just about to take a step when Ishaan’s sentence stopped her and she turned back with a confused face.

ISHAAN : So now will you accept me?

ANIKA : huun?

ISHAAN : You had said I am perfect so any woman will want to be my partner. Now I am imperfect, no one will want to be my partner. Will you stay as my wife?

Anika suddenly thought of something she hurriedly opened the envelope and she got shocked to see the content of it.

ANIKA : O My God ISHAAN! Why did you do this!!!
