Third POV
Y/N opened her eyes and checked her surroundings. Recognizing it as her room in the compound even though it was dark, she sat up slowly knowing it was all safe now. Everything tying her down now was done. She was free.

Glancing at the clock on her nightstand, it was 4 in the morning. Instead of going back to sleep, she decided to have an early start on the day and went to her bathroom to freshen up. While brushing her teeth, she suddenly remembered she kissed Natasha. While it may be done to help each other, she kissed her.

She vaguely remembered Natasha pulling closer into her when replaying in her head. She shook her head and splashed water on her face to shake the feeling. Deciding to take a shower, she shed her clothes and got in the shower to attempt to get rid of stress she has been feeling.

When she was done, she realised that she didn't bring any clothes with her because she decided to do it at the spur of the moment. Luckily she keeps her towels in the bathroom so she wrapped it around herself before heading to her closet to take her clothes for the day. She let go of the towel and started changing as she got her shorts.

Her door opened without any notice and she scrambled to get her towel to cover her front. She tried to hide her body behind the closet door as her head poke out to see who came in. "Nat?"

"Oh hey Y/N. I just came to check if you have woken up."

"Umm, I'm kinda changing..."

"Oh!" Nat's body turned the other way to give Y/N some privacy and after giving a split second of thought, she left the room to allow her to feel more comfortable while changing.

Y/N took whatever shirt her hands were on first and wore them quickly before opening the door again.

"Sorry for not knocking first." Natasha said.

"It's okay, you didn't know if I was awake. Thanks anyway, for saving me." Y/N said sincerely. Both of them stood at the door until Y/N invited her down to the kitchen because she was feeling hungry. Nat told her about the burger she bought and she decided to heat it up and eat that to save time and mess.

"So you're Allie?" Y/N looked at her surprised that she knew but softened when she realised that Nat probably knew it after she got taken by Hydra again yesterday. She nodded her head confirming the fact as she wasn't able to get a reply from Wanda and Tony yesterday.

"So? Was it Tony's stupid experiment that got you like this? You had so many opportunities to tell us but you chose to keep quiet. And worse of all, you lied to me. What happened when I met you in London? And then you turned small again when we went to Wimbledon. What are you trying to play here?" Natasha started rambling angrily as she was kept in the dark for so long. Half a year passed and no one told her the truth, letting her worry for Y/N all the time. Worried if she got herself into trouble or someone held her back against her wishes.

"Nat-" Y/N started speaking but got cut off by Natasha.

"Did you even consider my feelings? Everything was fine one night and you think disappearing without a trace was the right thing to do? Is that why you went to buy the keychain the day of the party? You knew you were leaving then."

"I didn't wish for this to happen Nat. I was knocked out and forced to take a drug that turned me into a child. It was supposed to kill me... without a trace." Y/N wasn't happy that Nat thought she wanted this to happen. She just wanted to protect those that were important to her.

"What happened? And I want the truth this time."

Y/N sat down at the couch and told Nat everything from the beginning. About my first encounter with Black Organisation and how Wanda figured it out during one of the missions at the resort. It was relatively easy for Y/N to recount her experience due to her photographic memories. But she hid everything that relates to her feelings like when she gave Natasha the chocolate during Valentine's day or the time when she said 'I love you' when Natasha lost her memories.

"Conan and Hailey were also victims to this. Remember Hailey who you thought I had a crush on when I was injured because she came over a lot? Her parents were the ones who created the drug and she was forced to continue when her parents died. She didn't take the antidote because she wanted to live a new life."

Both were a lot more calm after they decided that they'll spill the truth of the entire debacle as they sat facing each other on the couch. Anything Natasha asked, Y/N will try her best to tell the truth.

Y/N continued with the plans she made with Wanda and Tony to get the data from the Black Organisation hideout and this angered Natasha a lot. "I went on a mission that was related to you? No wonder Fury didn't request for a report! It was off the table!"

"Fury didn't know. He doesn't know anything. He only knows what you know. I just told Tony to tell you it was a last minute mission so you didn't have any time to think about it. I didn't have any time to waste either." Y/N understood why Natasha was angry. She had already known this would happen when she told Wanda and Tony not to tell Natasha.

"Wait... then what about the parents who picked you up?"

"They were Conan/Jimmy's real parents in disguise. They wanted to bring us away and start a new life in another country."

"And you didn't go? You could have another chance in life."

"Both of us have a reason to stay." Y/N was looking at hers but she was also pretty certain that Jimmy was doing his best to stay by his.

"I'm still mad at you for lying to me." Natasha said when they landed upon silence when Y/N had finished her story.

"Oh trust me I know. I heard all the scolding you said when I was still Allie. It sent shivers down my back and I considered not turning back." Y/N joked.

"Hey!"

This would have been the perfect setting to confess after everything was placed on the table. Especially if it was coupled with glasses of wine to boost confidence, but sadly for Y/N it was only slightly after 5 in the morning. The only thing she could get would be coffee to get her heart pumping fast.

"I really like you Nat, even before I disappeared. I wasn't kidding when I said I love you when I was Allie. I was really scared coming back because I was afraid that it'll endanger all of you. They'll kill people without a second thought unlike Hydra who kidnaps and torture them. I'm just afraid that I-" Y/N started rambling but was cut off by Nat kissing her.

Y/N was stunned but before she could kiss Nat back, she pulled away. "I really love it when you kiss me underwater. It's the best ever. Honestly survival was just thrown out of my brain then, I just want to kiss you forever." She smirked knowing she has that effect on her.

"Natty, I need to survive so you have more chances to kiss me. Otherwise it'll only be a one off thing." Y/N decided to be brave and flirt with her.

"Just come over here." Natasha spread her arms to make space for Y/N to lie on her. It may be around 5 in the morning but she hasn't gotten much sleep as she was making sure Y/N was alright.

"You know, this is my first time doing this in this body." Y/N mumbled as they both lay on the couch. She could feel the vibration on her back when Nat hummed. "The first time we held hands was also when I was Allie. I love how you would hold me." Hearing that, Nat wrapped her arms tighter around Y/N and found her hands to intertwine.

"I was sad when Allie left without saying goodbye."

"I'm not leaving anymore."

"I won't allow you to."

When Wanda came down to make breakfast for the team she noticed the two people that overcame a lot to be together cuddling on the same couch and couldn't help but to snap a picture of it.

The unmistakable smile on their faces even as they were asleep would have made anyone think they have been together for a long time and not just a few minutes ago.

"Time to make breakfast." Wanda said as she sent the photo to Nat's and Y/N's phone which chimed on the table with their shark and dolphin keychain next to each other.

Well, this is it! My first shot at adapting Detective Conan with Marvel. Could have done a lot better but something nonetheless. 
I'll be taking a break for my Uni stuff before writing again as I said in my one shot book. So, look out for more around New Year time, I definitely have something else in store.
