Training has continued on as usual the past few days. The only difference is I'm annoyed beyond all reason.

Neither of us have managed to use our other element, but Lloyd's Spinjitzu has continued to improve.

"So training has been just peachy."

It's been 3 days since the pirate's attacked and I still can't do Spinjitzu. I'm not mad at Lloyd for being good at this. I'm mad that I can't.

"Me and anger are a lovely combination to be around considering I'm incredible at controlling it."

"I didn't even convince myself..."

Jay had an idea for me to start off with lightbulbs. They bought me a couple of boxes and the point is for me to make it light up whiteout it being connected to any other electrical source.

The only thing I've managed to do is make them light up for a few seconds before blowing them up.

The more I break, the more frustrated I become.

I take a deep breath and take another bulb from Jay, concentrating on it. It takes me a few seconds, but it finally starts to dimly glow.

"Focus, Lindsey." Jay encourages, "control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up, harness it."

I nod, "got it." I take another breath, "I am in control..."

I focus all my energy on the bulb. I can feel it in my fingers and utilize it to make the light become brighter. My eyes narrow on it as I use even more.

"Come on, Lindsey. You can do it!" Jays cheers

But that's when it begins to shake in my hands. I have only a few seconds to turn away to avoid getting glass in my eyes as yet another one shatters.

I let out a frustrated noise and stomp my foot. Because I'm super mature!

"Stupid lightbulb!" I shriek, "why in the name of the first Spinjitzu master can't I fucking do this?!"

The room flashes purple for a moment, but doesn't last long at all. It surprises me more than anything else. Usually I feel it coming on or it lasts for longer than a split second.

That's when I notice the others all staring at me. Even Lloyd, Cole and Kai stop training and turn to me.

I feel my cheeks heat up, but I'm too pissed off to care.

"Let me have another try." I say, turning to Jay

He gives me a sympathetic looks, "sorry, Lindsey, that was the last light bulb. But we'll try again tomorrow."

I cross my arms and huff. That's when I finally notice how much glass is surrounding me.

"How many did I blow up?"

"Why don't we clean up and call it a day." Cole suggests and hands me the broom, "we'll continue with tomorrow, you 2."

I glance at Lloyd and looks at miserable as I am. His arms are crossed as well and his face is pouty too.
