Kasama si Doc Dreigh nang ihatid si Mazee sa kwarto. May inasikaso at kinuhang ibang pang test para kay Mazee. Sya na rin mismo ang kumuha ng dugo nya.
"I didn't expect that you are still not recovering from your trauma." Sabi nya sa natutulog na si Mazee. Hinaplos ang buhok nito at hinalikan sa noo.
"I'll be right back."
Pagkalabas nya sa kwarto ni Mazee.
"You may visit her now. She's still asleep. But, dont worry she's gonna be fine." Sabi Dreigh.
"Thank you, Doctor." Sabi ni Quinn at pumasok na sa room ni Mazee.
Si Dallas naman masama ang tingin kay Dreigh.
"Are you really that hands on to your patient? Really, huh? Kissing your patient." Di maiwasan ang mapait na pananalita ni Dallas.
Ngumisi si Dreigh kay Dallas.
"Oh, did I forget to tell you. I know her."
"Like when?" Kunot noong tanong ni Dallas.
"For quiet a while now. She is something special." Di maiwasan ni Dreigh na mas inisin pa si Dallas lalo pa at napakagat ito sa labi at bahagyang dinilaan ang lower lip. Nainis si Dallas sa inasal nito. Kaya di maiwasang kinuwelyuhan ito.
"She is not just a typical woman. Don't you dare disrespect her." Mabigat na sabi ni Dallas at mas naamuse pa si Dreigh dito.
"Chill man. Mazz is special to me." Kalmadong sabi ni Dreigh. "She is no ordinary girl. Truly a special one. Im courting her, just go let you know."
Malakas na binitawan ni Dallas ang kwelyo ni Dreigh nang pabalang at inayos naman ni Dreigh ang lab gown nya.
"Don't you even think about hurting her." Banta ni Dallas. "I'll do all I can in my power to revoke your fcking license and put you in jail." Banta ni Dallas dito.
Ngumisi uli si Dreigh at lumapit kay Dallas.
"I didnt even think of anything to hurt Mazz. Shes too special. Maybe, your the one who cause her too much pain. So, I am telling you to watch out. I'll anything in my power to keep her away to you, specially once she becomes mine and she permits me to do so."
Di na nakaimik si Dallas at umalis na si Dreigh. Para namang nagtagumpay si Dreigh sa mga sinabi nya kay Dallas. Napangiti ito at di maiwasan na matawa habang naglalakad.
"It feels like Mazee has a very complicated past. I need to start digging now to help her. She is now part of me." Bulong nya sa isip. "This is to pay off my dept to you, eversince I met you; I kept receiving good news while you are still being left alone in that dark past. I will surely lift you up, Mazz."
Habang si Dallas naman at wala nang magawa kundi suntukin ang pader sa inis.
"Popsie, lets get inside." Lumabas si Hansen at inaya si Dallas sa papasok sa kwarto ni Mazee. Ngumiti si Dallas sa bata at pumasok.
Nakita ni Dallas si Quinn sa tabi ni Mazee na umiiyak.
"Shes gonna be fine." Sabi ni Dallas kay Quinn.
"I am so worried to her. Shes been like this. She is always upset and keeps everything to her."
"It was all my fault." Sabi ni Dallas na pinipigil maiyak.
"No it isnt. Mazee was too stuborn also. She can't move on and kept on running." Di mapigilan ni Quinn na mainis din sa katigasan ng ulo ni Mazee.
"Dont blame her." Malumanay na sabi ni Dallas. "She has been through a lot." Malungkot na sabi ni Dallas.
