It's been 3 months since the incident at Starcourt and you are still coping with everything that has happened. Today you were going to hang out with robin and Steve as they were getting interviewed for a job at Family video. You put on a stripped turtleneck and black shorts. You hear the doorbell ring as you grab your black doc martins and beige jacket and walk towards the door.
"Coming!" You yell as you run down the stairs. You open the front door to see Steve leaning against the door frame. "Why hello there Harrington." You say looking at the man in front of the door. You couldn't help but stare at the man you got super close to in 3 months.
"Hey Sinclair." The man responds. You guys stare into each others eyes for a bit. Steve's face starts to get closer to your face.
"Come on lovebirds," You hear robin yell from the car. You guys turn to see robin. Steve runs back to the car as you go ahead and lock the door behind you and the got into the car. You guys start to drive towards the work place. Steve lightly places his hand on your thigh as you guys start to drive. Robin notices this from the back seat. "When are you two gonna get together." You turn your head back to see the freckled girl. "I mean you guys hang out all the time, at this point you might as well call them dates and You guys kiss each others cheeks and hold hands and cuddle." You turn back in your seat and a slight smile appears on your face. Hang out? You could say you two hang out. I mean you guys would hooked up maybe once but all close friends do that right? You guys make it to family video . You all get out of the car.
"You put your mom down as a reference?" Robin judged.
"Yea. Why not? She's, like, super well respected." Steve responds as the opens the door.
"Yea right. I've never heard of an infamous Mrs. Harrington." You tease.
"Well maybe it's because you weren't listening hard enough." He jokes back. He gestures towards you.
"Oh my gosh, You shouldn't have." You say sarcastically as you walk towards the door. Robin and steve follows in after you.
"We're here for an interview." The girl with a bun in her hair asks the man at the counter.
"There are only 2 positions available." The familiar face says gesturing at the 3 people at the desk.
"Oh no. I'm not applying for here." You explain. The man judges Steve and robin. Giving them looks up and down.
"Uh, just to be clear, we weren't fired, you know. The mall burned down, and like killed a bunch of people." Robin says kinda picking up on the mans judgy-ness.
"Thanks for sharing didn't know." The man says sarcastically.
"Hey, I'm gonna go look at some movies." You tell the two and walk off.
"Two favorite movies go" You hear the man with the family video vest say from afar. You wonder around the building. You stumble apon your favorite movie, Sixteen candles. You had strived to be Molly Ringwald. She was an absolute Icon in your eyes. You pick up the movie you want to rent out as Steve walks off from the counter. You hold up the movie you had picked out at the man and he walks towards you.
"Isn't That movie too cliche for someone like you." He sarcastically judges.
"But it is a cinematic masterpiece Harrington." You pout as you walk towards the man. You lean apon a shelf in the back.
"Never seen it. So it can't be that great." He says teasing you.
"You haven't?!" You say in disbelief. "How could you have not seen sixteen candles." You say as you play punch him.
"Never, had the interest." He says as he grabs your fist and kisses it.
"Lame." You pull your fist out of his grip. "I'm totally making you watch this with me."
"Not happening." He says without a budge.
"Please." You say putting a pout on your face.
"Hm?" he replies making a thinking face. "Absolutely not."
"But Steve," you whine. "It's an amazing movie. You can't make an opinion on it unless you watch it." You get closer to the man.
"Fine." He says looking at your irresistible face. "Make it a date?"
"Yea" You say as a small grin appears on your face. The man kisses the tip of your nose. Before backing away into a cardboard cut out.
"Goddamn it." The guy murmurs as he picks it up and tries to fix it. You giggle at the man. He picks up the cut out. "Fast times! Fast Times! ever heard of it?" he shouts over to the man. "Top 3 for me, Keith."
"Your an idiot Steve Harrington." You laugh at him.

You were relaxing on your bed with your walkman on. You were listening to Bohemian Rhapsody Jaming out. Until you heard a sudden voice.
"y/n." The voice murmured. You turn off your music and pull off your headphones. You start to walk around your room trying to search where the voice may have come from. "y/n" The voice says once more. You started to walk towards your mirror where the noise had seemed to come from. You raise your hand up to the glass as a tentacle comes from the mirror and wraps around your arm. You scream for help but nobody seems to have heard you. The tentacle tugs as you resist. Until finally you fall into the mirror. Instead of it breaking you went through it, Taking you to another dimension. Everything was red just like that one dream you had. This time it wasn't red tentacles for miles, Instead it was a replica of the sinclair's house. You had seemed to be in a version of your room but everything has tentacles over it and it all was shaded red.
"Help!" You scream once more.
"Nobody can help you y/n" The voice calling you name said. You turn around to see a flesh like monster. The monster had a left hand bigger than it's right.
"Henry." You say to the man.
"What did I tell you about calling your dad by his first name." He says walking closer to you.
"You are not my Dad, And surley Not my Father. Leave me alone." You say spinning your hand in a circular motion to form an orb. The man walked towards you. You shot a orb at the man but it clearly didn't affect him. "I told you y/n, You can not out power me." The man groans. He uses his hand to lift you up into the air. "You are going to watch, As I open the gates in Hawkins. Watch as all your friends suffer. You will watch as I use your power as it was made to be used. To destroy Hawkins and replace it with the beauty that is this world."
"Please." You say helpless. You start to cry. "I Don't want anything to do with you. I don't want to stop your plan." You beg. "I don't want these powers, Take them." You start to throw orbs at the man as he absorbs your powers. You start to grow weaker and weaker. "Take them!" You yell. The man puts you down and you fall to the floor. You throw any last orbs at the man. You start to run as far away as you can. It's just like how it was in your dream a few months ago. You start to pant, feeling weak in the legs. You run up to the staircase in the middle of nowhere. You start to walk up the staircase before you start to lift off the ground. You turn around to see the monster like man in the air also.
"What do you want from me." You groan. I gave you all you want.
"I can still sense your power y/n." He groans before lifting his hand. You move your hand in a circular motion forming an orb throwing it past the man. You throw another orb towards the man causing him to absorb it. You repeat this pattern over and over until you start to feel like headed. You look down at your finger tips to see they are blackened and burnt and your skin starts to tense up and wrinkle. The half human half flesh man goes to use his new profound powers on you but he can't. A smirk appears on your face. A red crown appears on your head.  Your skin starts to loosen up at the sense of power coming back to you. Your father starts to look around the room as your ruins start to appear.
"Just like you taught me. In a given space only the witch that cast them can use their magic. Thanks for the lesson." You raise your hand to form an orb and your eyes glow red. The thunder in the atmosphere gets louder and louder as you suck a good amount of power out of the upside down and transmit it to yourself. Your father wails in pain as the hivemind he calls the upside down loses its strength. Your outfit starts to change, You now were in a red corset like top with pants and a cape attached to it. Gloves covered your fingers and Thigh high boots appeared on your feet. The crown that was once levitating over your head now was attached. 
"Oh god." You heard your father mumbled. "You are a monster. You turned into a monster." You stare into the mans soul as he wallows in fear. "You don't know what you've done." 
"Don't I?" You say as you tilt your hand towards the man. The man falls down onto the wet floor of the upside down. You slowly levitate down to the ground. The orbs disappear from your hands. "Thanks for teaching me everything and more. I hope it bites you in the ass Henry." You send an orb to the man causing the rest of him to burn up. The man now was fully burnt flesh man. "Now i'm not the monster." You squat down next to him. "You are." You turn your body around and  form an orb in both of your hands, you stretch them out to form a portal to the main world.

It was now Friday night. You still were yet to tell anyone about your encounter with vecna considering you had left him in a weekend state and you wouldn't dare let him lay a hand on anyways. You were getting ready because Steve was coming over for the movie night. You wanted to look your best for the boy so you had gotten more dressed than needed. You had slipped on a pink and white flowered night gown and put on rose perfume for the boy. You went to go grab the portable dvd player from the hallway closet as you hear a bang on your window. You rush towards your window to see the man in the frame. A grin appears on your face to see Steve standing there with a bouquet of lilies in his hand and the movie in the other. You unlock the window lock and lift the window up. 
"Hi" you say with a slight blush on your face.
"Hey, Sinclair." He says as a smile paints this face. You starred for a while before you catch yourself.
"Oh." You say before you move away from the window and let the man in. The man placed the lilies on your bedside table and layed on your bed. You set up the portable DVD player as he loaded it up with the movie. You hop on the bed next to the man And press play on the movie.
"I can't believe that I agreed to watch this." The man says as he wraps his arm around your next. The movie started with everyone getting ready for sam's sister's wedding.
"I just can't believe they forgot her birthday." You sigh. 
"It's not that big of a deal." Steve said as a throw away comment.
"Not that big of a deal." You sit up, you put your hand over your chest jokingly. "I can't believe you said that. I mean if someone forgot my birthday I would be so hurt."
"Like you are right now." He jokes with you as he sits up.
"Yes exactly." You say getting closer to the man. The room is silent for a bit. You could now feel his breath on your face. You couldn't help but look at the mans red soft lips.
"Yea." He says before leaning in and kissing you. You guys pull away and lay back down and cuddle for the rest of the movie.
