DAMIEN silently look at Sean. Sean has been his assistant ever since and they already had a tacit understanding. One look, he already knows what to do. They need to do it fast before Charlotte wakes up and plead him.

"Do you have any dealings with Ocampo Corp.?" he asked, ayaw niyang madamay ang kompanya ng mga biyanan niya. He planned to bankrupt the company then buy back as Charlotte's gift.

"Not anymore. It was the previous construction company ang may cooperative contract sa Ocampo. Since the selling of share happened, we no longer have any communications." it was Charlotte's mom who said it. She even look more sad. 

Instinct told him to dig deeper about it. He made a mental note to himself, he wanted to know what happened.

 "Are you related to the Montreal Conglomerate?" 

"Apo po at pinsan ko po si Drake." honest na sagot niya, bigla naman tumalim ang mukha ng ginang.

"Thank you Damien, if not for you di ko alam kung saan hahantong sina Charlotte at ang apo ko. But no offense meant, I don't like you hovering around Charlotte. Ayokong may connection ang anak ko sa kahit na sino man sa pamilya niyo. For God's sake, she is already on the process moving on from your damn cousin! Ayokong bumalik na naman siya dati"

"I can't do that ma'am. I am you grandchild's biological father." tila bombang imporma niya. He saw Mr. Mcgregor flinch ngunit kumalma rin.

Sean was shocked with his boss revelation.  Halos alam niya lahat ang tungkol sa boss niya, maliban dito. But he knows something happened on the night of his cousin's engagement. 

"Besides, I sincerely like your daughter. If I may, I will help her move on and like me. Hence, I would love to have both of your blessings to court Charlotte" dagdag pa ni Damien.

Charlotte's parents didn't know what to do nor what to say. Kahit may idea na si Mr. Mcgregor ay never niyang nabanggit iyon sa kanyang asawa.

"Ano plano mo ngayon?" tanong ng ama ng dalaga.

"I plan to transfer Charlotte and our child to the City's Private Hospital after the operation at kung may go signal sa doctor. Kumpleto ang mga kagamitan doon at nandoon din ang mas magagaling na doktor. Besides, I can assure their safety kapag nadoon sila." they nodded as Damien explained.

"Mas makakabuti nga iyon. Bahala na kayo ng anak ko kung anong plano niyong dalawa at sa apo ko. But I hope you respect Charlotte's decision kung ano man ang gusto niya. As of now let us wait for her to recover ." she said sensibly. She hope na lumaki at buo ang pamilya ng apo niya. It is time for Charlotte to be responsible and think not only for herself but also for her child.

Kahit ayaw niya sa mga Montreal, hindi nila maipagkakait sa binata ang pagiging ama nito. She looked at her husband earlier sa reaksyon nito, she knows that what Damien said must be the truth. Hindi nga lang nito binanggit sa kanilang mag-ina.

Somehow medyo nagtampo siya sa kanyang asawa, but she knows it is for the good. Dahil kung alam iyon ng anak na isang Montreal ang nakabuntis sa kanya, hindi malabong bumalik na naman ito sa dati na gagawin ang lahat upang mapalapit kay Drake.

Knowing her vengeful daughter, she might even use her child to get revenge to her best friend. Baka unahan pa nitong magpakasal ang dalawa and use her position to surpress Michelle na ikakagalit ni Drake. It will make things complicated lalong lalo na sa pamilyang Montreal.

"Bago ka magplano, do you know Charlotte and your cousin history?" seryosong saad ni Mr. Montreal.

"Yes, although Charlotte use a very wrong way to love I admire her for her courage to pursue it at malalaman mo kung gaano ito kaseryosong magmahal. I hope sooner, the target of her love will be me." mahinang usal ng binata, at dahil sila lang tao sa labas ay narinig nilang lahat ang mga kataga ng lalaki.

"Hindi ka takot sa maaring gawin ng anak ko?"

"Silly. why would I? For this period of time, I came to know your daughter and I can assure you that the current her is very different from the previous her. So there is no need to worry." confident na sagot ng binata.

Naputol ang usapan nila ng namatay ang ilaw sa labas ng operating room, hudyat na tapos na ginawang operasyon. Ilang sandali pa ay lumabas ang doctor.

"The mother is safe, ilalagay na siya sa recovery room. For the whole week bawal mabasa ang tahi niya. As for the child dahil premature ito, kailangan siya eh incubate for further observation."

"Can we see the baby?"

"As of now ay hindi, but pwede niyo siya dalawin bukas. Bawal  kasi itong ilabas sa incubator, the child's immune system is very low."

"Can we transfer them to City hospital?"

"For the mother yes. But for the child, not for the time being. Kindly fill out this documents" saka binigay nito ang mga dokumento kay Damien.

"Good, I hope you can prepare the transfer tomorrow by one pm. My chopper will be ready at the helipad" Damien said saka kinuha ang fountain pen na binigay ni Sean sa kanya. He wanted to fill out these document personally. Proving that he is the partner of Charlotte and the child's father.

Ang mga magulang naman ng dalaga ay sumunod kay Charlotte ng ilabas ng mga nurse ang babae patungo marahil sa kwarto. Tinigil muna niya ang pagbasa sa form saka sumunod din sa mga ito.
