Painting this venue is something else. I don't know why I even volunteered but I will do anything for Chesney.
But on the bright side Dwight will be cooking up food and he keeps us in lemonade and he hit on someone other than me and Turner didn't know how to take that.
"Alright if that guy comes out here flirting again I don't know how to take it."
"He is harmless. He does that to me a lot and I think he does it to get a reaction out of me."
"Alright he better be harmless but if you hear me screaming you better come help me asshole."
I couldn't help but laugh and shake my head at him.
A little while later Chesney walked out rubbing her belly and it's just getting bigger by the day and I love it.
Over dinner tonight we are supposed to start going over names to figure it out because people want to buy things with her initials on them.
When she walked up I smiled. "What's up Ches?"
"It's lunchtime and Dwight preferred if you guys come in with no shirts on."
Turner got choked on his spit and I couldn't help but laugh and Chesney giggled.
"I am joking! He never said anything." She laughed.
I wrapped my arm around Chesney and kissed her lips. "I love you."
She smiled at me and pulled me in for another kiss. I can't wait to hear her say it back to me.
We went in and Dwight had a spread laid out. Grilled chicken, Sweet potatoes, and fruit salad.
"Wow, this looks delicious Dwight." I smiled.
"Not as delicious as you two." He smirked.
Turner's face was red as blood as he looked over at me. "Just ignore him because that's what I do."
"It's hard man."
"Relax new guy I am just teasing. Just because I am gay doesn't mean I like all men but I can appreciate a nice body which you do have because I have observed." Dwight smirked.
I heard Chesney giggling and I couldn't help but laugh.
After lunch and Turner excused himself to the bathroom I followed Chesney to her office and pull her into my arms and kiss her lips.
"I forgot to tell you that tomorrow is girl's day and I am having a mani-pedi day with Whitney, Meredith, and your mom."
"Well, that sounds like fun." I smile at her and kiss her again.
"Yeah no boys allowed but maybe you guys will want to do something together."
"I will think about it. May just help Turner continue to paint."
"Ok well, I thought I would tell you. I just wanted to treat everyone and hope to have a fun time with my new family."
"My family loves you Ches. They all are excited about our baby. Ready to have dinner tonight to go over names?"
"Yeah, I am ready for that. I have a couple of names."
"Good because I don't have any." I laughed kissing her one more time before heading back out to continue to paint in the hot ass sun.
By the time we were done with the painting and were able to get home, Chesney ordered some Chinese food and we changed into comfortable clothing and were ready to talk.
The Chinese food came within twenty minutes and I could tell that Chesney was excited to go over names.
"I am not even going to tell you that I have a few names picked out because I have nothing so I am going to leave this all up to you."
"Stone you have to help with the name it just wouldn't be right."
"Well then tell me what names you like or what you have your heart set on and I'll tell you if I like it."
"Even though we aren't married she's taking your last night right?"
"She better." I laughed.
"Ok I have always loved this name and I think it's fitting for our little girl. What do you think of Sadie?"
"Sadie... Hmm, I like it if you do. So what's her middle name going to be?"
"I am not sure about that just yet but what about Sadie Travers?"
"You and Whitney have gotten pretty close how about her middle name?"
"I don't know it Stone."
"I do I mean she is my cousin. It's Danielle."
"Sadie Danielle hmm I like it."
"Have we found her name?" I ask.
"I think we have. Now we just need to get her room done."
"What color are you thinking Ches?"
"Yellow for sure just don't know the theme yet maybe bunnies?"
"If that is what you want Ches I will make it happen for you."
"Maybe you and Turner can work on it after you get the venue done?"
"Maybe we could work on it tomorrow. Now we just need to buy things for her room. What color are you thinking for the crib?"
"I want white wood. I like that color."
We finish eating and clean up and the kitchen and then head outside to the swing and she pulls out her phone and we start looking at baby furniture.
"It seems more real now doesn't it?"
"It really does Stone and now that she has a name and it won't be very long until she will be in our arms."
"I have never been so excited over anything before." I laughed.
She leans over and puckers up her lips and I kiss them over and over until Cotton jumps up on her lap.
"I think he will be jealous of her at first."
"Maybe but he is still the first baby."
"Yeah, my first pet as an adult. I had animals as a kid and a dog as a teen but after he passed I just didn't want any."
"We had a hamster but I am pretty sure mom killed it but that's a story for another day."
"Damn she was a wolf in sheep's clothing for sure."
"You know it Stone." She sighed.
