Various tidbits about the story, where my inspiration, ideas and Easter eggs are revealed!

)Road dog and his team are all supposed to have a canine themed nick name or code name that they use. Some use it more often than others like Road dog /Roadie is almost always called his nick name, as is Dingo but Kato, Billy and Bart use their actual names.

)the idea for the canine names was inspired by 2 sources: the Disney gargoyles series, there was an animal themed antagonist group called "the pack" and the WWE wrestling stable "the new age outlaws"

)Billy and Bart are directly inspired by 90s WWE Wrestlers Billy and Bart Gunn. Not just in name but I intended their appearance to resemble them as well.

) Road Dog is Named after WWE wrestler Jessie James "the Road Dog". His appearance however is not.

) I started writing this when I was obsessed with the game Overwatch. I decided to try to name a side character (or location) after each hero from overwatch.

)Rust Valley is inspired by Rush Valley in Full Metal Alchemist. (With some cosmo canyon from FFVII as well.)

)being a red velvet fan fic, I try to add as many red velvet Easter eggs. (Albums, songs.. etc) but I think I only have 1 so far: IC City ICC... ice cream cake. 

)Jae is obviously supposed to be SungJae. (BtoB) I started this long before Crush came into the picture so. I'm sorry. maybe a Crush character will be incorporated later for some juicy love triangle drama. Lol.

 )the original intro idea was inspired by wild arms 3 for the ps2. the game starts in a similar way. Introduces the playable characters in your party 1 by 1 with their own scenario  that leads to them coming together for the main story.

)the naming of the Intros (W, Y, S, I, J) was inspired by the intro of FFX-2 Yuna, Rikku and Pain refer to themselves as Y,R,P.

)I use the term Jeep rather loosely in my story. I use it as a term to describe SUV type automobiles (because that's what we did growing up. Not sure why) especially US  military vehicles which the Jeep brand has roots in. So when I describe Grand Military trucks/ SUV i just go to Jeep by default. Even more ironically I don't even mean those old school jeeps with no tops. So my bad for any confusion. I will try to better differentiate in the future. 

)I thought about adding characters based on ITZY members at one point, to have some K-pop cameos. They were the only other girl group I kind of followed besides red velvet at the time and they just released not shy. I thought the MV concept fit well with the setting of my story. I ultimately decided not to add them to just keep the focus on RV.
