After, Liam helps me look through his rack of clothes to find a shirt I can wear. I giggle as I tie one of his t-shirts at my waist, so it's not too big.

There's a knock at the door. I look around to make sure we are all put together before opening it for Caroline. She walks in slowly. "Is everything good?"

Liam walks up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, laying his chin on my shoulder. "Yes, Caroline. Thank you so much for giving us that time alone to sit and talk."

"Mmmhmm." She mutters as she rolls her eyes at him.

"What on earth is this?" She asks, looking at the buttons all over the floor.

I look at Liam and smirk. He tries to look serious as he tells her. "I'm afraid we had a wardrobe malfunction."

"Well I'd say so." She laughs. "Alright just a little more work to do then we are done for today."

Liam sits on the couch, watching me work. Every so often I look over at him and by the devilish grin on his face, I can only imagine what he must be thinking.

"Liz, can you take these over to the other room for me, please?"

"Sure, Caroline." I wink at Liam as I leave the room.

Caroline walks over to Liam, patting him on the shoulder. "You've got it bad Bub, don't ya?"

"What do you mean?" Liam asks.

"You are crazy about Liz."

"It's complicated, Caroline."

"Hmm, funny, looks pretty simple to me." She smiles.

I walk back into the room, Liam smiles at me.

Caroline leans down, whispering to Liam. "You should have seen yourself light up just then. Simple."

I'm watching as Caroline whispers something to Liam. As she walks away he looks at me and swallows hard.

I take his hand. "Are you alright?"

Liam entwines his fingers with mine. "Yes, I'm good."

I turn around to make sure no one else is in the room with us, besides Caroline. When I see there isn't, I turn back around, leaning down to kiss Liam. As I start to pull back, he puts his other hand in my hair, pulling me back for another kiss.

We pull back, looking into each other's eyes. Something feels different. Liam opens his mouth to speak, but Caroline interrupts telling me I can go back to the hotel now.

"What were you going to say?" I ask him quietly.

He squeezes my hand. "It was nothing. Come on let's go."

When we get in the back of the car, I scoot over to sit beside Liam. He sits a bit stiff for a moment. I begin to move, thinking I'm crowding him. He reaches out, takes my hand and wraps it in his, then lays them on his lap. I settle in next to him and we ride in silence back to the hotel.
