One month later.

"Can you grab my dress for me?" She asked as she sat on our bathroom counter, wrapped in a towel, hair dry and straight, doing her make up.

"Of course" I told her, kissing her shoulder firmly before going into our room, where her dress was hanging in the closet, retrieving it for her.

"You better start getting ready. We don't have much time left-" "I only need about thirty minutes to get ready, baby" I laughed to her, seeing that we still had a little over an hour before we needed to be at the Christmas work party.

So I continued to watch her do her make up, completely mesmerized.

"Your staring is making me nervous" she laughed out quietly, her eyes moving to me as she smiled lightly.

"I think you are absolutely gorgeous." I blurted out without thought, but didn't regret it for a second.

"Thank you" she smiled, opening a lipstick as she looked away from me.

"I think you are beyond handsome."

Soon I started getting ready, soon joining her in the bathroom, seeing our color coordinating outfits, making me smile.

"We look so cute" she spoke as I wrapped my arms around her, looking at the two of us in the reflection of the mirror as she pulled out her phone quickly, saying a small "smile" before taking a quick picture.

"Okay now come on- we were supposed to leave five minutes ago."

We pulled up to the reception venue where we met the guys and their dates outside, us all walking in together, immediately greeting people and taking more pictures than I could've ever imagined.

Ava held my hand almost the entire time, seeming to enjoy herself as we talked to everyone and got drinks and snacks.

Ava.

I had at least three different blisters from the heels I was wearing.

Everytime I got a second to sit down, Ashton got excited to introduce me to someone else.

I finally found Sierra, quickly telling ash I was going to stand with her before joining her in the corner.

"It's a bit much, isn't it?" She laughed to me as she handed me an extra water, making me laugh as well.

"I definitely think we could've done without the black tie dress code." I laughed in agreement.

Her and I sat, chatting about the afternoon and her relationship with Luke.

"I've just never felt a love like I do for him." She told me as she looked to him from across the room, which made me smile.

I found Ashton quickly after, seeing him hit Michael as he laughed out, making me smile.

"I'm completely understand what you're saying."

"Come on baby, let's dance" Ashton suddenly appeared, grabbing me gently- which made me realize that a slow song was playing.

He brought me to the middle of the floor, avoiding other couples as he did, holding me close to him as I held around his neck, smiling to him.

"How's your night going?" I asked, feeling him kiss my cheek gently before returning to look at me.

"Amazing, I have the prettiest date around- I couldn't ask for anything more." He smiled to me, making me touch my forehead to his own, smiling as I did.

"How's yours? You enjoying the party?" He asked me quickly.

"Yeah- yeah it's good." I smiled

Anything was good as long as I was with him

"Why not great?" He asked, immediately seeming concerned but I stopped the concern with a small laugh

"These shoes are just giving me horrible blisters."
