She put on my sweatshirt, watching me finish packing before she went over a small list of things I might need, making sure I had them.

"I think I have everything, baby" I spoke as she stood, telling me she would walk me to the door.

She kissed my lips multiple times as I held her at the door, promising her I'd be home soon.

Soon the door quickly opened- luckily I was able to catch it and stop it from opening completely, seeing Luke.

"Give me five minutes, Ava doesn't have pants on" I laughed before quickly shutting the door, turning back to Ava, who's arms wrapped around my neck, hugging me tightly.

"I love you" I told her calmly, kissing her lips once more.

"I love you more" she let me pull away from her.

And with one more kiss on the lips, I left her shortly after.

Ava.

I wanted to cry.

I hadn't been really alone for even a day since my family died, so this was scary.

But I could do it.

I continued to walk around in only Ashton's sweatshirt, fixing myself a smoothie before starting a movie on Netflix.

I soon realized that time passes extra slow when I'm alone.

I knew everyone was coming over tonight so I started straightening up and baking brownies and making a snack board for everyone.

Ashton FaceTimed me as I was finishing up, immediately answering and leaning on the counter to give him my full attention.

He showed me his and Luke's shared hotel room and complained about the drive over there before turning his full attention to me, asking what I had been doing and such.

I filled him in before just giving him a small smile, convincing him that I was okay.

"You look pretty." He spoke, making me smile .

"Thank you, Ash" I smiled to him.

We talked for several more minutes about what they were planning to do tonight compared to our plans.

"I wish we could've stayed home" I heard Luke say, making me quickly nod.

"But- there are lives to save." I spoke, making ashton immediately smile to me.

"Thanks for making us look at the bright side, baby."

Soon we hung up and almost seconds after the doorbell rang, Sierra coming in almost immediately after, holding up a bottle of wine in her hands.

"The party has arrived" she sang out, making me immediately laugh

"I'll grab the wine glasses"

Soon everyone was here

Everyone consisting of me, Sierra, Michael, Crystal, Calum and Brandy.

We all sipped wine and chatted, snacking as we did.

I soon got a call from Ash, excusing myself before going into our room to take it.

"Hi baby" I spoke as I answered, hearing his happy voice immediately back.

"Hi love, how is everything?" He asked.

"It's good, we're all just chatting and snacking" I told him.

"Okay, well I didn't mean to interrupt, I was just going to bed so I wanted to call and say goodnight." He spoke, making me immediately realize- I did not want to sleep alone tonight.

"Oh- oh yeah." I cleared my throat quickly.

"Well I hope you sleep well, I love you." I told him firmly.

"I love you more angel, text me when everyone leaves, and make sure you lock the door, okay?" He spoke to me.

"Okay baby, call me when you wake up in the morning- it doesn't matter how early." I told him, hearing him laugh lightly.

"You'll regret that, but okay baby. I love you."
