After Luke and Sierra came out showered and started ordering pizza, I went with Ava to start the shower for her.

"The seatbelt bruised me" I suddenly heard her say, making me turn my attention away from the water and to her, seeing her in her bra, holding her shirt as she looked to her skin in the mirror.

She had the perfect bruise imprint of a seatbelt across her chest and stomach.

"That bruise probably saved your life" I told her calmly before hugging her from behind, kissing her shoulder as I did.

I left her to shower, filling Luke in on how she felt, which he expected.

"I never realized that her family died, I knew there was a reason she moved in with you so fast, but I would've never thought that." Sierra spoke quietly, making me nod slowly.

"Just try not to bring it up unless she does"

Soon she was out and in pajamas, sitting on the bathroom counter as I showered, waiting on me.

I got out and saw her on her phone, rubbing her neck.

"Does your neck hurt?" I asked her as I wrapped a towel around myself, moving to her.

"No" she lied, dropping her arm and sending me a smile.

"You don't have to lie to me." I told her, kissing her cheek as I immediately brought my hands around her neck, feeling for anything out of the ordinary.

"I'm okay, ash" she told me quietly.

"I know you are, you just most likely have some whiplash, so it would be normal for your neck to hurt." I told her calmly.

"I just want to go to bed" she told me calmly, making me laugh.

"Let's eat and then go to bed, baby"

Soon the pizza was here and we all ate together, watching a random show that was playing on the hotel tv.

Soon we were all done and crawling into bed, Luke and Sierra telling us their good nights before we did the same back to them.

I pulled Ava more into my hold, kissing the back of her shoulder, which made her turn towards me, letting me kiss her on the lips before she grabbed my hands, relaxing neck into her position.

"I love you, I'm so glad that you're okay." I told her, feeling her grab my hands, which rested on her stomach, myself immediately smiling at her gentle touch.

"I couldn't live without you, ash"
