"Ma'am, uwi nalang kasi tayo." Pamimilit ko sakanya.

Parang malalaglag ata yung puso ko sa tiyan dahil sa sobrang kaba, langya.

"No, ayoko." Umiiling na sabi niya.

Bakit ba ako nakipagpalit ng pwesto? Tangina, feeling ko natatae ako na ewan.

"Bakit ba kasi tayo pupunta roon? Tingnan mo naman ang itsura ko para lang akong makikikain na tambay sa kanto, mommy." I complained so she looked at me for a moment before clearing her throat.

What the fvck was that? Feeling ko nilalait na rin ako nito sa isip niya e, kilalang kilala ko 'tong dragonang 'to.

"You look..." She smirked that made me frown.

"What?" Iritang tanong ko.

"Good?"

It's not even a statement but a freaking question! Inis na tiningnan ko siya at inirapan kaya narinig ko siyang tumawa. Tuwang-tuwa sa pang-aasar niya, tss.

Naging tahimik na ulit kami dahil hindi na ako nag tangka pang magsalita ulit dahil paniguradong aasarin niya lang naman ako. I was just tapping my fingers on the dashboard trying to catch up to the beat of the song that's currently playing on the stereo while looking at her, I'm admiring her incomparable beauty and her gray eyes that.

She looks exquisite as always.

"Ma'am,"

"Hmm?" She asked before moving the steering wheel to the right.

"You know what? If I were on a jury," napatingin siya saakin saglit nang huminto ako bago napailing at muling ibinalik ang tingin sa harapan.

"What?"

"I'd find you guilty of being criminally beautiful." I seriously said that made her look at me with wide eyes.

Her cheeks suddenly became crimson red, then she blinked her eyes numerous times, like she's trying to make a every warm surface on her face disappear. She averted her eyes and tilted her head away from me before clearing her throat and focused on driving.

Is she blushing? I smirked because of it.

After a while I felt the car stop so I looked out the window and saw a two story house. It looks simple but the ambiance is light and cozy. If I were to describe it in an exact detail using one word I'd use the word homey.

"We're here." She said while unbuckling her seatbelt so I unbuckled mine too.

"Mabait ba nanay mo, mommy? Baka tagain ako." Nahihintakutan kong saad kaya bahagya siyang napailing.

"Don't worry, my nanay is nice." She said before getting out of the car.

Lord, kapag hindi po ako naka-labas ng buhay pasundo nalang po sa pinto ni San Pedro.

I swallowed hard before getting out of the car and slowly walked closer to her who's impatiently leaning against the gate jamb while staring icily at me.

"Why did you take so long to come out?" She opened the gate for us before started walking while I am still standing near the gate.

"Nag recite pa kasi ako ng sampung Apostles' Creed, limang Our Father, walong Hail Mary, pitong Glory Be, limang Fatima Prayer at tatlong Hail, Holy Queen." I said nervously so she suddenly stopped walking and looked at me with confused face.
