"What happened?" I immediately ask Riki as soon as he came back. He is holding a plastic bag.

Riki shook his head before handling the plastic bag and water. "Here. Drink this," He said with a serious tone. I nodded my head and take the medicine from him. "Is he busy?" I ask Riki after taking the medicine. Jay has been very busy this past week and I understand because it's his work. Although I kinda missed him.

Riki stared at me before taking a deep breath. "Yes. I think he is," Riki replied, avoiding my gaze. He is lying. Why though?

"I will excuse you to our professor. I'll take you home. And... don't be stubborn, please."

"Okay..."

Riki then excused us from our professor and he took me home. He insisted on staying to nurse me but I told him that I can manage. I don't want to burden him.

I was in bed scrolling through my phone when something caught my attention. My heart beats rapidly. Am I seeing this right?

It's an article about Jay and a girl. It is stated here that someone saw them together in a fine restaurant. Based on the photo they look like they were having a romantic time. There's this one photo wherein Jay wiped the girl's face. Also, there is one where they are both smiling and enjoying each other company.

I swallowed hard. I don't want to cry. Plus I trust Jay. I know he won't do that to me. Maybe it's part of his work? He was forced to do so?

I decided to message him. "Hey, Love! Where are you?" I didn't think that he would reply right away but he did.

Oh. Short reply. Maybe he is busy.

"Oh. I see! Good luck love! I love you <3." and he left me on read. He did not respond or anything. He knew that I was sick but he did not even bother asking how I was. I'm a little disappointed but It's fine. I understand him.
