I breath out a sigh and I slumped down on the soft cushion of the Sofa

I heard a sound. Alarmed, I sat up straight. I looked around for the source of the sound.

Turns out it was the glass table in front of me.
The table was empty. I could clearly see through the glass. But the sound definitely came from the table. I leaned towards the table for closer inspection.
Soon, a green circuit like pattern appeared on the glass. It was too distinct. The lines the circuit pattern converged to form a fingerprint pattern.
I recognized it. I was the same symbol I saw on my phone!
The darn symbol that started all of this. Should I tap it?
I wasn't sure. I didn't trust this thing. But did I have a choice?
I needed answers. And this is my best bet.
Taking a deep breath, I placed my thumb on the symbol.
Soon texts started to appear.
The surrounding identified as safe. Proceeding to next phase.
